Misleading title of the video , the actual downpipe will not give you 170 hp gain lol . It is the use of ethanol the cause of that tremendous gain

Hardest most difficult DP install I ever seen in my life.
those heatshield clips you destroyed actually twist off pretty easy without the need to destroy them - you just push them back on when you put the heatshield back on - tension from the prongs on the threads of the studs keeps them from coming off again!
This thing is crazy, it's defiantly becoming one of my favorite rides on CZcams.

Ahhh The driveshaft aka propeller shaft, I had too replace mine on me MK6R. Fitted a new one. Thinking about putting an downpipe. Still not done it haha.

So I have 18’ TT RS before the OPF that’s my Sunday fun day car! I haven’t driven it in weeks bc I’m thinking about the down pipe, tune, and maybe the low pressure injectors?? Are those necessary for longevity? Probably going to get them anyways but just wondering your thoughts?
I've heard great things about the 034 and IE downpipes. Really looking for something with good resonance to avoid any drone when cruising with the valves closed. Wouldn't it be great to try before you buy?
ECS do that with wheel spacers, they should do it with other parts. It would be good for business I think, even if the product doesn't suit you make a little money for the service.
what is the hp/tq gains using same gas (91oct)? seems misleading using a completely different setup then to claim high hp gains? what was the hp/tq on the RS3 stage 2 E85 before install and after?
How do you manage oil blowby? Assume oversize catch can?

I’m in the middle of a big situation I did a down pipe on my 2020 rs3 but when I was putting the drive shaft back together I noticed a rattle Inside I try to spin it by hand and the rear pice wouldn’t spin with it, I can find any shop local that can repair it, I can’t find any new at the moment so my big question is! Can the car be drivable? I know the front tires wheel be ok but my concern is the rear differential?

Hey Cam, or anyone else that knows; you gave me a ton of ideas for my 2013 Beetle Turbo Fender edition. The biggest one being the unitronic downpipe. My question is would I expect any problems from just installing the downpipe/high flow cat without the tune? At the moment I've deleted the resonator and muffler. It's a manual btw.
From my knowledge once you increase down-pipe diameter/performance you’re in stage 2 tune territory or run the risk of leaning out
stock port injectors are about 160cc
If it didn't hook up before it DEFINITELY isn't hooking up now 😂

Injectors are a must do, otherwise you will be struggling to get fuel

I got a 4 motion sportwagen and I wouldn’t mention an RS3 in the same breath as a GTI or my car even with an IS38 swap.
RS3s are basically 4 door crotch rockets. They sound like crotch rockets, and with stage 1 they move like crotch rockets.
Our cars will NEVER be that unless you RS3 swapped it…. But there’s about 40,000-60,000 reasons why it’s a dumb idea. Main one being you could get a low mileage 2020 RS3 with an extended warranty out to 85k miles and have all the benefits of the swapped golf but with a warranty for almost the exact same price as JUST the swap. A swap Which will leave you with no warranty, and a car that 99% of mechanics won’t even touch when you have an issue and 99% of people wouldn’t buy from you anywhere NEAR what you paid to have it done when you go to sell.
RS3 swapped stuff is lotto money, I burn it in a pile to keep warm or wipe my ass with it because is means nothing to me.

1400 usd ? for a non heatsheild downpipe :)) i got one with 650 usd and 300 cells catalyst and heatsheild including shipping. Nice overprice but hey xD

So you gained a whole extra polo GTi on top just from a downpipe wow that's some gain claims , so why don't Audi use that downpipe with a smaller lighter engine less fuel injected etc and get rs3 stock hp easier for a lighter faster car
