    Hello sir, we did contracts for each PI. The contracts were very small like just calling features, user stories related to these feature and its story points. I arrived the total cost based on available capacity and shared the cost to each feature based on capacity used on these features. Our one agreement was we would be paid only for the feature delivered. This way we may end up working on a feature in multiple PI, our payment was done once the feature was delivered. This way we covered for all capacity used in the team.

    Hi Sir, @17:42 while discussing Career Path for RTE - Could you please tell, Is SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) the highest role an RTE or Safe scrum master can hold in a SAFe environment? Thank you.

    • @izenbridge
      @izenbridge  Před 2 lety

      SPC is a certificate and consultants who implement SAFe does it , its a temporary role for SAFe implementation its not a role on ART.

    Excellent conversation. Do you recommend a non technical person try for a RTE role?

      Yes, its about managing people and strategy alignment less about coding and managing architecture. So like Project Manager, this can be done by person good in managing stakeholders, here is detailed blog on Role of Release Train Engineer www.izenbridge.com/blog/the-roles-and-responsibilities-of-a-safe-release-train-engineer-rte/

    SAFe makes some suggestions around budgeting (Lean Budgeting/Guardrail) that will help service sectors. You can use PI based budgeting at portfolio level for service based engagements
