@@TrentinArt I thought that was because of the "name lost in translation" like many others, like the name in the beginning is different compared to the later half of the story where the "real" name is actually right that time
It makes so much sense on Ono’s growth from him being an assistant to Miura and Shinohara. That is because both of these series were launched by the editor Murakoshi who was also Ono’s editor when he helped him launched Full Drive. Mostly because Murakoshi’s strengths is approving stories that are comedies, slice of life, and romance. That is because Murakoshi launched Act-Age (unfortunately), Witch Watch, Blue Box, Akane-banashi, and now Hima-ten! So Ono was always a romantic, and Ono’s assistance after Full Drive helped him learn the do’s and dont’s and took what was best from those series and put it in Hima-ten!
An assistant on Witch Watch and Blue Box, two of my favourite Jump manga? Gnarly! Those two had just come out when I started reading Jump manga from Manga Plus, so I've been reading them from their very first chapters.

I see the vision but The author was still too unexperienced... it just wouldnt work out, even if haikyuu didnt exist Funny thing what i see about the author is when it comes to one-shots, its always action based. But his aim for serialization is highly slice of life. Normally authors just commit atleast once for a battle serialization
