- Nice Mercruiser 5.0 L Chevy 305 cubic inch V8 drop in 4 barrel carb Marine engine. It is 100% fresh water. It starts right up it idles ride out water runs through it easily. It's very responsive it holds really nice oil pressure around 40 lb idling and it jumps right up to 55 or 60 or if you give her the gas. It has the Thunderbolt ignition.
I've never seen an engine run from a chain hoist before. Sounds awesome!!

It should have 80 pounds of oil pressure if the crank is tight and ready to go in the boat
