Owned a rode one for several years back in the 90s. Best street bike I ever had. Super comfortable and easy to ride.
My 1st streetbike bought it in 1987 for $950 from bills cycles in stanley bc. Good times. Didn't even have a license and drove it to myrtle beach bike week from charlotte. My pops put tag in his name. hehe rode it everywhere, not one problem.
When times were so much simpler I envy u lol
That's the way to do it! I rode unlicensed, etc. for a long time. Never had a problem until I gave the cops a reason to stop me. Ride responsible, wear your helmet, use caution and you'll be just fine.
Super model. I just picked up a 550T, this bikes brother, and the GS series is excellent
I’ve had a 1982 for about five years now. It’s taken me all over, and I’ve been working on going through it. I do auto restoration for a living, so doing this one right has been a breeze relatively speaking. That said, mine had different tank decals than this model, so both must’ve been an option in ‘82?
Nice!! Good to see u doing some reviews.
Nice sound,
Love the styling, perfect
What a looker
this was the motorbike of mine
There’s one for sale near me with 8k miles and the guy claims all it needs is a front brake caliper. I need this bike I’ve never rode one before but I really want one and he only wants a grand for it
I just bought a complete one for $10 bucks at a esate sale yesterday...
I bought a mint one for $200...
@@michaelcollins3455 and sold it for 500...lol....
Hermosa motocicleta
😎😎😎😎
It's not all original the tank has been replaced as well as the skins.
Hi, how much horsepower did the US version of the GS450L have? is the engine identical to the 1988 version? does anyone know whether I only have to replace the camshafts to increase performance? here in Germany the 450L was apparently only available in the 27Hp version ..... Greetings to the USA from Germany Mike
I had a 1981. Bought it new. Stock was 37HP. Significant performance improvements from removing the factory airbox, adding K&N filters, and replacing exhaust system with free flowing Kerker header. I also rejetted the carburetors, but I’m not certain that was necessary. Bike ran great when I sold it with 62,000 miles on it. Would pull redline in sixth gear although I do not recommend it. Just too fast.
who the hell is this guy lol
I have 2 this Bike.
Is this more of a woman’s bike? I mean it sounds shallow for me to ask but I was looking at a bike at a Harley store and some dudes were laughing and telling me I was looking at a woman’s bike.
Well there's your problem, asking Harley dealership people their opinions. It is absolutely not a "woman" bike. Almost no bike is.
Harley sportster 883 is considered a womans bike. This bike here is a beginner bike.
I rode one to over 30 states. I don’t know if it was a woman’s bike, but women certainly enjoyed riding on it with me, and I enjoyed them, too.
Is this the son?
Top speed?
110 mph. Did it more than once. Smarter now, lol.
