    Doug, you gorgeous chiselled Adonis of a man, this is amazing! I never realised you could combine voxels and regular meshes, very cool. Love the idea of digging underground to complete the heist.

      🤣 Thanks dude! Yeah it would be great to add digging hopefully I can find a good system to make it work!

    doug, you gorgeous chiselled adonis of a man, i have never seen such quality in a devlog series its like i am actually learning how to code and getting jazzy with the jazz music too. i am definetly coming back to watch more, and for an uncommiting type like me, you should be proud i want to keep watching your videos.

      @@sampup6871 wow Sam thanks so much for taking the time to write this comment! I’m still finding my feet here on CZcams so kind words like these really mean a lot!
      One thing I’ve been trying to work out is how much code to show and explain in the videos. So can I assume you’d want more coding in future vids?

      @@DougFromTheBayou as a slightly more successful small channel owner myself, trust me, it takes time to find your community. But once you try new content types and do what you love, lots of viewers will follow. Just dont give up!

      @@sampup6871 thanks Sam! Yeah I’ve got no intention of giving up anytime soon! Awesome I will try and put more coding sections in future videos!

    Great as always mate! Voxels side was really interesting, look forward to seeing how it develops. Blows my mind you just easily built an voxel designing app within your game 🤣

      Haha thanks dude! Yeah I hadnt planned on making a full editor but the more I thought about it the more it seemed necessary!

    Could you not use a meshcollider instead of separate box colliders?

    • @DougFromTheBayou
      @DougFromTheBayou  Před 6 dny

      @@anthonyapm Hi Anthony, I reckon I’ll give mesh colliders a go when I try and write the multithreaded voxel generation code, but in my experience the mesh colliders are less efficient and when they are set to be non convex they sometimes provide erroneous collision results. But I will absolutely do some tests to see what works best!
