Pounding the meat is done before going into the egg and coating. You do it so that it will be the same thickness and cook evenly. Also, try shaking the meat in cornstarch before putting it in the egg, it will make the coating stick better.

Loved when Jake gives Lucy a bit of his and says “don’t lick my fork Luc “and Flair hands him back the fork and said “she did just a little” and Jake takes the fork right back !! Now that’s a true hunter who cares for the dogs .. ! Always fire guys , enjoy the hints and catch, clean, cooks !! Keep it up !
I think you might want to go through your pews one day and figure out the problem ones and tag them so in future you know which is which. You could make a video out of it. Also when done you can decide which, if any, you want to get fixed or sell.

In order to get any kind of breading or flour to stick you need to dry off the meat first. Or you can flour egg flour. Use butter/milk instead of water and vegetable oil.

If you don't like the sweet pheasant and waffles with syrup make yankee chicken and waffles. You cook & shred the meat then put it in some turkey gravy, let it simmer and put that on top of the waffles. Game changing.

Second year of commenting this you need to do a whole bird. I grew up on a farm with an abundance of pheasants that we trapped and a whole bird is my personal favorite. Its not flashy but shoes off the amazing taste of the bird

Flair please wash&pat dry the poultry then moderately Laurie's Seasoning Salt and place bird on baking rack in the fridge for an hour before dipping in egg wash.
Please try it, it's called a (dry brine) it's the only way to get extra crispy fish or chicken.
flair and crew NEEDS to do a colab with Ketucky Ballistics!!!!!!!!! Also the 2 barrels at one time shoulder breaker was prob the 10 gauge.
If you are looking for extra crispy with any fry coating... put the wet meat in flour, then in the egg mixture, then in your crispy mixture pressing the mix hard onto the meat. The first coat of flour and egg/milk makes it like a glue that holds the final mixture better.

Hey when hunting seasons over you should take stock on what guns don't work, find out what's wrong with them and get them back in working condition. Guns are all mechanical so they should be easy to repair.
If I can drill out my gas port and part my BCG for my AR you can deffinitly replace a firing pin at least.
