FYI-since we all love Lucy so much and love seeing how far she’s come, be careful not to be feeding her onions. A few small pieces will *probably* be ok, but onions are poisonous to dogs, and we all want her to have a long happy life!
thanks for writing that. too many people think that chocolate is the only thing that dogs can't have. but there are quite a few things that most would think is fine for dogs that is poison. onions, garlic, grapes, apple seeds and most seeds in general to name a few. people need to just do a quick google search before giving their dog something new to see if it's safe.

My grandpa passed away in my birthday last year, and I love this video man! When you get to spend as much time doing things you both love together, it makes your heart happy. And you will always have these memories to look back on.

My grandfather passed away last night I never had a great bond with him but he got me into hunting he had 50 acres of land and I have shot my first deer,squirrel,crow,dove,fox,coyote you name it I killed it on his land he will be missed I thank him for the opportunity to gain my love for the great outdoors and to respect nature as well I will never hunt on Sundays due to my grandfather never letting me and teaching me that was a day for the lord RIP pawpaw hope you look over us and that your are finally happy and safe up there with mawmaw

It’s awesome you get to take your grandpa hunting! I used to fish a lot with my grandpa growing up. I still have a letter he sent me when I was in boot camp telling me how proud he was of me for becoming a Marine. He’s gone now but I still have that letter locked up in my gun cabinet and read it every now and then. Spend as much time with your grandparents as you can because you never know when they won’t be around anymore.

Both my papaw and my wife’s papaw are now gone. Her papaw passed in 2021 and has most certainly been one of the hardest deaths I’ve had to deal with. Thank you for reminding me my reason for hunting! Last words I heard that man say to me was I’d never make my new lab pup a duck dog. ( jokingly he said that) 2 years later, we are gearing up for duck season!

I normally don’t like the duck hunting videos just cause I don’t duck hunt and can’t relate however, I loved this one. I grew up hunting with my grandpa and I would do anything to have one more hunt with him. That paired with it was cool watching those ducks respond so well to those calls.
I grew up in Omaha (Ralston) and completely agree on the Runza conversation. I didn’t like them as a kid but now I love them - cheese all the way! We ask for multiple ranch cups and dip everything in there. I live down just north of KC now but my family is all still up there. My sister is a manager at a Runza so when we are in town, we will buy some Runzas that she’s made and froze before baking so we can take them home, pop them in the oven and enjoy.

Ain’t no way in hell that big Felix is Ninety freakin’ Nine years old!!! Dude is sharp as a tack and looks spry as can be out on the muddy bank and in the blind. Also, did you see him maneuvering through that cell phone to show photos of his bass at his duck hunting spot. Idk how many of y’all have watched your grandparents use a cellphone, but I can guarantee most of them don’t do it as skillfully as Ol’ Felix. You’ve got some good genes there Flair! And you’re extremely lucky to have your grandpa still.. lost both of mine but I cherish the times I got to spend with them. Please try to include him as much as possible. It will mean the world to him and you’ll cherish every second of it when you watch over them again years from now.
