- Anthony Smith is back on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show to look back at his win over Devin Clark at #UFCVegas15, his first win in 2020 after losses to Glover Teixeira and Aleksandar Rakic. Smith says it was the first time he felt anxiety on fight day in a long time and describes the questions of doubt he faced after those two defeats. “Lionheart” looks back at his 50-fight pro career (11:20) which includes an opponent that was in jail during the week of the bout. (22:05) Smith cuts off Helwani before he can ask about a potential future fight vs. Luke Rockhold, which he shows interest in.

I'll never forget that this guy had the opportunity to beat Jon Jones due to illegal knees and he chose to continue fighting a losing battle instead of take the cheap win. Earned my respect for life. Glad he's doing well

It’s funny cause when you watch the fight. He literally put on a stupid pace cause his coaches were yelling commands for him to do and he did like every single one of them and gassed in the 2nd round also he doesn’t own up to saying he put a pace on Glover

Completely unrelated but please ask DC about his boy Khabibs comment at today’s press conference when they asked him if he was interested in fighting the winner of Connor and Dustin. His response was, “The horse does not begin to race until the donkey is finished.” He told them it was an ancient proverb meaning:: the donkey has no business in a horse race. This was right after he said why. I already tapped out or chocked out most of their inter mural champions.

anthony is really likable.....but do remember him being a bit annoying after the glover fight, cause it's all nice and well that he wanted to go out on his shield, but stopping a fight you are losing badly , can definitely help with your longevity

I like Anthony, but man be real. You talk about Rakic conditioning and that he was tired. Look the replay again, after the fight you were sitting on the floor ang grabing the cage, totaly exhausted, and Rakic was running around the cage. Just admit yourself Anthony, you are not even a top 10 fighter.
