- I have officially created the world's BEST Tuna Melt.
Simple yet sublime in its complexity...
2 slices Wheatberry
2 slices Aged Cheddar
2 slices Pepper Jack
2 slices of Monterey
1 cup tuna with chopped red, green and yellow peppers, chopped green onion, cayenne pepper, black pepper, mayo and Dijon mustard
The rest is history

Mmmm, it was a hit. Made it for a house full of hungry people in a vacation house where we basically only had the ingredients for This particular meal. Served with macaroni salad. Filling, satisfying, and a hit! Thanks again. I'll subscribe and check out your other videos when I get back home.

Nice!! That looked delicious! A chef I worked with years ago used to do the mayo on the bread instead of butter just like you. It's a nice touch. You didn't even mention who you were and where people could try your sandwich tho.

I tried it with my son. It was so delicious with the fried eggs!! Thank you!! However the tuna was cold. I don't think that was enough time for the tuna to be warmed.

Ooh, definitely gonna incorporate the fried egg in my next tuna melt. Also like the three cheese combo. Thought the portions were a bit on the abundant side, but other than that, it looks awesome.

I'll give ya another hint/suggestion. Thinly slice up a bit of green onion and sneak a few in the tuna. Not too much just enough to get the surprise every few chews. It makes it pop!

Too much oil to fry eggs. I use butter or pure home made ghee to fry eggs, it not only taste better but its awesomely delicious.

What did you do to that tuna? Because that just didn’t look like tuna, it looked like mush. I presume it’s canned, did you add anything to it or just mash it?

You can't just have Tuna Fish. The Highest Quality Tuna Fish is Solid White Albacore Tuna Fish. That's going to be one hell of a sandwiche.

This reminds me of something off kitchen nightmares. No seasoning, cheese didn't even melt, the guy claiming it's the best in the world not to mention the fact it's mad unhealthy. Food in America is f###ed, the typical chefs creativity doesn't go beyond the thought process of "ill just add more cheese"

Wooahh wait, did you actually put cold tuna on toasted warm bread and call it a melt? The cheese isn't melted and the middle would be cold. You can't use the lid after its assembled to keep it warm as one side of the bread is off the heat. The side that is not on the grill to further the melt and warming would become soggy. Unless you tend to the other side before serving...
Eggs sure each to their own, way over cooked for my taste though... It's crispy like bacon wtf?
