- Our October 2022 travels took us on an adventure to the beautiful and charming countryside of Scotland. Our 10-day journey brought us to the Isle of Skye, Aviemore, and Edinburgh among many other stops along the way. From coos to black pudding, we enjoyed everything Scotland had to offer and we would definitely love to get back someday for more exploration.
Fall is an ideal time to visit - it's much quieter and the colors are just breathtaking.
Absolutely, we very much enjoyed the trip and time of year.

Beautiful imagery. Those Highland cows are so cool... I could watch them graze forever.. I love that the trip was wet and cloudy... the mood and colors were perfect. Barb and I hope to get there some day.

Have a great trip! Most of it was filmed on a Canon R6 (amzn.to/3skgQ3A). For layers, mostly a fleece/mid-layer and a shell/rain jacket to block wind/rain.
Would you mind sharing your itinerary of your October Scotland trip?
We should be coming out with a blog article at some point that'll detail this on our website. Rougly we did a clockwise loop to Fort William, Isle of Skye, Loch Ness, Aviemore, Edinburgh and St. Andrews.
