This is full of minds rotten by talent shows.... Anyway, what I like most about the song is the soft voice, not that she is screaming like a saleswoman in an Asian street market.

@@ivrugue I don't think the message is as obvious with Zorra. Jamala also sang in English, and in Salvador's case, the sound was just so sweet and melancholic, you could imagine it was about heartbreak. Meanwhile, "Zorra" is about one word specifically, that is not really understandable unless you speak a Romance language. I just don't think it comes across that easily (even though I hope I'm wrong, I would love a Nebulossa win).
They obviously won't win the ESC. Actually I'm afraid they will end up much lower than most of you think. Somewhere between 20th-25th place. I like the song but I don't think it'll translate well to the international audience. But we'll see.

Por fin una canción sin gritos. No se necesita gritar para cantar bien. En ese sentido Nebulossa me recuerda mucho a Fangoria, Alaska nunca grita y es una de las mejores voces de España.
Una cancion es el conjunto de todo, no solo el/la cantante. No es una cancion para gritar, la verdad.

Creo que es un sonido diferente respecto al resto de canciones. No tiene una mala voz, tiene una voz que es propia sin necesidad de hacer tonos altos. Si realmente ese estilo no funcionara, Alaska nunca hubiera conseguido tanto éxito. No necesita romper un agudo o aguantar una dificultad vocal constante, justo por eso llama la atención. Tengo ganas de verla en la gala y crear una percepción propia completa, pero de por sí estoy contenta ❤
Es que Mery creo que es Contralto. Muchos piensan que una voz se trata de notas altas y ya, pero no es así. Ella tiene su estilo como una Alaska, una Ana Torroja, cómo ese tipo de cantantes de los 80s que han sido gran influencia en la música.

Before the ESC actually begins, I want to tell why, beside my own country Finland, the Spanish entry is my favourite. First, there is the song itself. It awakens nostalgia from 80's, when I was a teenager. It has an addicting hook and great message, it shows exemplary courage against bullying that women might encounter if they want to have some fun. And I love, how it is appropriating a word, that has been a symbol of inequality between men and women. Second, there is of course the singer herself, Mery. What a great charisma she possesses! There are lots of younger artists in this year's competition, who are trying every trick from the book to be noticed, but she could just walk to the stage and own it with all that confidence that only experience can give. I also love the warmth in her voice. Andin the live version I can hear from the reaction of the audience, what a real Eurovision queen mother she is! I wish she will someday visit Finland. Third, there is of course the dancers. They are not only handsome, they are also very bold and talented. Not just everyone could such a performance, and keep the beautiful smile on their face. I wish you all the success! Love from Finland! 🇫🇮❤🦊🇪🇸
