A few years ago when I did reefer I got sent to eddy's ice cream warehouse in Bakersfield, CA. They turned me around and told me to come back when the trailer was -10? No truck stops around I ended up parking at a home depot a few miles away. Which then made me late for my appointment and had to get" Worked in" Reefer is too much BS but if it pays your bills then you have all my respect sir. "Keep on trucking" as they say.
You’re absolutely right about the scams they pull. Would be great if her could all band together and get a class action on fraud. Because that’s exactly what it is, a setup.
progressive which i think you mentioned you have does offer a roadside assistance option on commercial policies, maybe see what all they cover for that? it wasn’t much when i was running quotes with them
They charged me loves $173. No I didn’t opt I. For the roadside assistance. I don’t trust insurance companies, they are as trustworthy as the government.

@@Mike_Greentea I just can’t take $1.50-$1.80 freight. I’d rather be doing dry van. But I’m not going to do double the work. Ice cream load was $3.18 all miles. Next load I’m on is $2.40 all miles, and I deadheaded 250 miles. It’s also double the risk. Either way.. van or reefer.. it sucks out here. This heat probably killing the flatbedders so. No matter what we do out here. It’s all fucked.
Yea I loaded sacks of Teff seed in Blythe this morning, and got stuck and had to be pulled out by a tractor. After tying my load down I was about dead. Heading to Idaho, hoping for cooler weather.

@Mike_Greentea prob a company driver and just goes through the truck wash. Prime drivers do that too.
