Im interested to know whether you will read the courts with traditional interpretations or will u find an intuitive meaning for each of the new titles they've been given. Do I have this deck?!! Lol. This deck is absolutely superb quality, production, card stock, price, finish........ I think you get the gist. I wish indie creators made decks of this quality card stock. It has theeee best noise when you shuffle 👌👌👌 The publishers knocked it out of the park 💛
I feel likewise on suit changes. If it makes sense, and I'll add - at a glance. When I'm reading the cards, I feel like having to work my way back to the suit meaning is a distraction and takes some of my focus away. I should have a strong initial sense of interpretation at first glance.

I have this deck & love it to pieces - the art is wonderful. You know I love dark decks so it had me before I bought it but it was much better than I expected. I don't use it, I look & photograph as I often do. I think it would be good to read with except you need to become accustomed to the suit names (they are very simple & logical to me) & the court names (I would have to put my mind to finding a different reference to each one. I just haven't tried.) Some of my favourite decks - & most used, like the Forest of Enchantment - have all different names for stuff. I learned them fine 😊 thank you for the close look Simon 😍 I don't see this around very much so hopefully some macabre lovers will be prompted to pick it up. xx
I love the Macabre Tarot, the coffin box quirk drew me in but when I got it I really loved the cards. I preordered it, and it kept getting pushed back and I thought 🤦🏻♀️ I’m gonna hate it when it eventually arrives. I love the simplicity of the artwork, the whole vibe of the cards 🤔 probably in my top ten 😅 the coffin lid sound doesn’t get old for me though mine doesn’t always work
It looks a quality product, the musical coffin box has to be a first. I always get confused when decks deviate away from the four suits. It’s much too creepy for me but very well done. As always Simon thank you for your time sharing this with us.
I have had this. deck since its release. I think its definitely for those who know tarot extremely well. I love it . I also have the cosmic c***t by samantha. I really like that little deck too. Its a very good reader. I have yet to procure her rainbow tarot I think it may be called. Its not what I would go for usually. However there is something about her style and portrayal of each card that I really enjoy so far by her.

It's a little confusing and a bit Macabre lol but other than that i like it. I think i could get used to the suits change and the courts i would use word association like Terror = toddler lol. Page and Nightmare=Knight etc. I didn't like the clown lol and when you said "who doesn't like a creepy clown?" I was like "me" and then you said someone out there is saying me and i cracked up laughing 😆I think i am starting to like it.I was going to say that if you still had that little plastic piece you pulled out of the door you could stick it back in to make it stop creaking if it started to get on your nerves. Good idea, but I’ve ordered a special bag to put this deck into as I know it’s going to get a lot of use. I just knew they would be people out there reacting to the clown, but your story was very funny and made me chuckle. 🤣

I saw this on Ben's channel awhile ago. When it comes to macabre, I think I prefer Patrick Valenza's brand. The box is clever though.
