Can you imagine if this was Game 7 back home at Wrigley if the Cubs won? Some people said it'd be a mad house and the city would be burned down if the Cubs won. but, when they won the pennant at home against the Dodgers, i thought it was pretty well contained, and people were just having fun. i even saw clips of fans just high-fiving police officers in the streets down the line. that was the same when thousands of people were just outside of Wrigley celebrating when they won in Cleveland. I like to think people as a group are smart of what to do and not to do when celebrating, and we showed that.

The Cubs SHOULD have won game 7 at home, but MLB had a stupid rule that the team from the league that won the ALL-STAR GAME had home-field advantage in the World Series. The Cubs had the better record by far, but the American League won the All-Star Game, so Cleveland had home-field advantage. Stupid.
If you needed to pick an exact moment where the 'curse' was broken this is a great candidate. All of you that poured heart and soul into this moment brought back every soul that ever wore that red white and blue cap

I believe I could hear them singing from my house in Northwest Indiana.
I think the fact that they were still down 3 games to 2 and the fans still responded this way after keeping the season alive makes this all the more powerful.

Had the honor of seeing a game at Wrigley this summer and although my Jays lost it was worth it to hear the crowd sing "Go Cubs Go". Great city and Greater people.
As a life long Cubs fan watching highlights of this past season still brings tears to my eyes. I honestly never thought I would get to experience a Cubs Championship in my lifetime. This Championship has brought me so much joy and happiness at a time for me personally that I really needed it. Thank you Cubs for this truly special memory.
Still tear up rewatching this 6 years later. Hopefully were building close to the next great cubs team this off season. Think a few pieces here and there and were back

I was so impressed with how your beloved Cubbies not only bounced back after two gut wrenching losses in games 3 and 4 to make sure they didn't lose the World Series at Wrigley (like other Cubs teams might have) but more importantly how they rode the momentum and won the World Series. I was heartbroken that the Indians didn't win it all... but I have nothing but respect for this organization good for the Chicago cubs for their world series win. good for the fans... you stayed passionate and drove them to that win. nothing but respect. I've been a Cubs fan my whole life and looking back through the Cubs teams that either choked in the playoffs or where swept. I'm glad it was this team that won it all. The chemistry between these guys and the team that season in general was just phenomenal. I'm glad my young self has been alive the sametime they won the World Series.
I understand I'm a year late to the party, but I watched this live on TV in Chicago when it happened and I got chills. I appreciate Fox for allowing the song to be sung by the fans mostly uninterrupted. Not only was it an honor to the Cubs for winning this game at home and to the fans celebrating, but it was an honor to Steve Goodman, writer of the song. For years on local Chicago radio, people wanted to get rid of the Go Cubs Go song, saying it was a losing song. This video proved those haters wrong. This was an epic moment in Cubs and Chicago history that many fans like myself, will remember forever. Steve Goodman, Harry Caray, Jack Brickhouse, Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, etc., and to the thousands of loyal Cubs fans no longer with us, God Bless you. We won. =)

I'm Mexican and my grandmother was always a truly fan of baseball and his Yankees. So I grew up watching this sport and made me a Cub Fan. This WS was the last that we saw together before she pass away. She's was so happy for me and my Cubbies.

When they held on to win this hard fought Game 5 at home it was more relief that they stayed alive, avoided Cleveland winning at Wrigley, and the Cubs finally winning a Home World Series Game for the first time since forever. Little did we know it was the start of a great comeback World Series Championship.
My first MLB game was a suprise when I visited Chicago my friends suprised us with Cubs tickets Cubs vs Padres game 2 of a doubleheader in April of 2011 (got rained out the day before) we sat 7 rows behind the Padres dugout. Nicest place to watch a ballgame and I've been a Cubs fan ever since and I'll never forget how happy I was that they won the World Series. Hope I can make it back to Wrigley for another game. Go Cubs Go!
Pretty sure my neighbors in my apartment filed a complaint on me after game 7. Screaming, tears of joy, anger, sorrow, excitement and disbelief all in the span of 4 1/2 hours
Watching this again years later, and it still gives me chills. Definitely one of those mythical moments in all of sports history.

Me and my dad have been going to games since I was 5 years old, it was a big deal for us to say the least.
