This set has more of draw to it than the sith infiltrator. It comes down to the lamp post vs the duck bike😂. Lamp post looks better.

Lego should just do the younglings training room with Yoda some plant buckets door and moving targets as a diorama. That would be very easy to do.
And add Anakin as anniversary figure in all black attire from Revenge of the Sith.

$20 seems like max. The build is just the speeder from the 501st battle pack plus a side car... oh, and cant forget the lamp post!
This is the best way to look at it. It is literally just the speeder from that set with a side car, figure selection is good but that price is not justified at all

maybe in America 20 dollars maximum, in Russia it will definitely cost about $40 dollars, for $30 it will be almost impossible to get it (yes, everything is imported from us, but at a very inflated price, so I don’t understand people at all who complain about prices in America / Europe)

Wow that lampost is probably the best one I've ever seen in a star wars set.

We all mock the lamp, but that's the only part of the Jedi Temple Lego is going to give us apparently, so we should be grateful. 😢
30$ for this set is absolutely insane

Even with no functionality, I appreciate the light post inclusion to try and represent the scene it's from.
Nice review David, I think the set doesn’t quite pass the eye test for the price, the biggest draw for me is the Kelleran Beq minifigure so I’ll probably end up picking that figure on BrickLink or just grab this set on sale
y'all keep joking bout the lamppost but from a diorama standpoint, it ties the set together. As a solid, recognizably static object, it gives the other pieces more velocity, more potential energy by contrast. I love having it in the set as an anchoring side build.

Pretty nice figures, should have been 20-25$ price to steep for what you get at 30
This is also the first set reportedly where the Clones are represented as the bad guys
And they got the blaster colour right in about 4 years

Well comparing it something that’s clearly overpriced like the snub fighter this is better value, and it’s a decent set

I think this is a great set, I’m disappointed in Lego’s BARC speeders but it shouldn’t be to hard to modify and remove a few studs in length

Honestly, I think they should’ve shrank the speeder down slightly to be more accurately scaled to the mini figures, ditched the light post, and given us a couple of the Royal Naboo Security Force guards that helped them escape.
What’s up the lamp post that’s what production team came up with they need to turn on the lights because we could of got an extra fig
Thanks for the review! General question, when you get these sets provided by Lego for review, do you know are they the version made by the European or Mexico factory? Reason being is I’ve heard lots saying that US copies of sets have a higher error/misprint rate than sets for the European market.
Ngl, the worst part of this set is the price. But overall this set is not bad

That would be cool if they made a jedi temple. It is sort of perfect for a giant playset like Rivendell. Some younglings training, the archives, a landing dock with a speeder, the jedi council, etc

the side of the bike has free unused studs, why not add two clips for the lightsabers to be attached there? instead of the side lamppost filling up the piececount budget

Technically this is the second Order 66 set. The other one was the Turbo Tank and ATRT Walker with Yoda and Gree.
Value isn’t there! All minifigs are dirt cheap in it. Except the Jedi. Plus the build is very small. The lamp points doesn’t add anything.
I agree man, like this is a $25 set, the +$5 are just inflated, the 501st troopers aren't as good as if they weren't without holes and Grogu is reused from other 9 sets, either see the value there 😮💨
I think it’s a wonderful playeset for kids and great set overall just really wish they didn’t change the helmets with the holes

Dear russian friend, us europeans complain because the set isnt really 30 dollars, its 30 dollars plus taxes plus whatever a certain store decides to add on top of it. This set will cost 38,10 dollars with 27% taxes in hungary and probably another 2-5 dollars added on top of it. There are lego stores in only 11 european countries which means other countries here have only "fake" lego stores that pretend they are lego stores and we have no protection or guaranteed prices on the market. If you decide to go with shipping, it may end up 50 dollars. American prices are also without state taxes so the set isnt 30 dollars there either.

I remeber times when battle packs were bumped from 15$ to 20$ and it was quite a big contreversy. Imagine paying 30$ for them. Thats double the price for some expensive plastic.

I prefer the 2013 version by a landslide because. Of the play features on the sidecar being able to swing around.
Another SW set we need to go on sale for it to be in a sane price range.

I really dig the barc speeder design here, and Kelleran is a phenomenal minifig, but I agree that this really is just an "okay" set (and definitely overpriced). Will get it eventually, but no time soon

Ok I saw this at work (retail) which I liked at first. However watching the review has change my mind! I know the speeder is the very similar to that Rex one in terms of scale but it look way too long for me!
Take a shot every time he says "exscape." If you survive, you can treat yourself to this battle pack.
I own the original a d don't really see the need for this except for the exclusive fig once again being the only reason I'd buy this set. Seems like they are doing more poorly designed sets with the exclusive fig. Thanks for the reviews.

I think it looks great but it should have been a add on to the Naboo starship. I likely won’t get it as it’s too similar the other speeders on display.
