Hey! Considering how big this video is, I obviously cant go over every detail, that's why we also do 10+ minute videos about individual Pokemon. However, in our usual fashion, we did indeed make some mistakes (not mentioning something is not a mistake for the most part, unless its something integral, rather than additional). So I'll document those by editing this comment. Here they are:
-I said grey squirrels came to the UK from mainland Europe, they actually came to the UK AND the mainland from North America.
-One of the "Anacondas" shown was actually a reticulated python. Also Sandaconda's nose is a double-barreled shotgun, which were invented by Joseph Manton, an English man.
-Major forgot to mention some of the more important Fossilmon details, (which are being covered in their own video) But the big one for now is that Arcto COULD be from a Mosasaur or Ichthyosaur, but I'm leaning more towards the Arctophoca / Arcophoca. Which is a prehistoric seal. Notably, even the Mosasaur and Ichthyosaur are NOT actually dinosaurs. Just like that seal/walrus.
-Galarian Stunfisk actually reflects the idea that beartraps were originally intended for humans, as its mouth is a Pokeball, acting similarly to Foongus and Voltorb as Pokeball-mimics.
    - The Penguin hockey team we mentioned IS in the UK, but we used the wrong logo, its the logo of an American team. also while we're here: the word "Penguin" actually comes from Welsh, meaning "White Head"
-The Japanese word for 'snowman' translates to 'snow daruma,' daruma dolls being what darmanitan was already based on. Making the connection with snow.

In thievul's shield pokedex entry it states that "Boltund is its natural enemy." I think this helps explain boltunds somewhat super hero like design, in the sense that thievul is a conniving villain and boltund is the hero who stops it.

The rune on stonjourner looks straight up like Ingwaz to me. It is also sometimes called Ing and can look a couple other ways. It mainly represents a god called Freyr-Yngvi, which is Old Norse for Lord Yngvi. His title is often shortened to just Freyr, meaning Lord. He is one of Odin's sons, a fertility god, and supposedly the ancestor to a Swedish royal family. Aside from that, the rune symbolizes rest (stand around a lot), a deep connection with the Earth (made of stones), secrets (mysteriously gather), and a time when one must move forward with something (able literally move around).
It also symbolizes some other things like home, family love, life, fertility in men, and a sound like a quick ng, but I don't see how any of this symbolism is connected to stonjourner.

    Important note for Eternatus:
While Eternamax Eternatus is obviously a hand it's also a Hydra. The "fingers" open at the end when Eternatus attacks, making it look like a 5-headed snake. This is fitting as Hydras have eternally regenerating heads (until they're burnt)
This also helps explain its type, as Hydras were dragon-like creatures with very dangerous acid/venom in Greek legends.

Snake enthusiast here! I’d like to speculate that Silicobra is based on false cobras, specifically the Egyptian false cobra because of its desert origins. The “false” connection also makes sense since Silicobra isn’t poison type, only looking like a cobra to trick predators into thinking it is; most false cobras aren’t truly venomous, either, and any venom they do have is usually mild compared to that of the cobras they mimic. As for Silicobra and Sandaconda’s subtle shiny forms, I like to think they’re inspired by the axanthic morph of some snakes-which basically leaves you with a washed out, grayscale snake.
And one more thing I just wanted to point out. I hate to be that person, but the snake on the right at 13:04 is a ball python. They’re sweet little things that only get to be 5-6 feet tops, as opposed to anacondas that grow to around 20 feet. 😅

There is an interesting duality in zacian and zamazenta. the Pokedex refers to them as being either siblings or rivals, being unclear as to which is true (I personally think it's both). Furthermore, the game seems to imply that they are different genders, as zacian's shield Pokedex entry claims that zacian is the elder sister to zamazenta, meaning that zacian is female. This makes sense when comparing their typings and designs. Zacian has mainly smooth curves that contribute to a "sleek" look (something common among female creatures in media), not to mention the rather feminine typing of fairy and how the "hero of many battles" having the long braids and prominent markings near the eyes. This differs greatly from zamazenta's much spikier, almost always plated look, along with the masculine type of fighting, the cape-like mane present in "crowned shield" form, and the ponytail reminiscent of the stereotypical plumage on a knight's helmet. This is of course without considering the implications of their titles of "the fairy king's sword" and "the fighting master's shield," which is an entirely different rabbit hole

The desert in Hoenn makes also absolutely no sense, as neither Kyushu (which Hoenn is based on) nor the rest of Japan have any deserts. No other region besides the one mentioned have any deserts.

Zacian and Zamazenta's seemingly ghostly appearance at the start of the game and emerging from Burial Mounds to to save Galar in its "Darkest Day" is a reference to King Arthur's title as the Once and Future King, as it is said that he will one day return in England's darkest hour to save it.
The Fairy King's Sword is likely a reference to the fact that he leads the Wild Hunt in death. Wheras the Fighting Master's Shield is likely due to being a Warrior King in life?
And a Red Dragon was his symbol. They called him Pendragon, after all.
