Sancho just chilling there not knowing he's about to be £90+ million 🤣
🤣🤣
£72 million.
I think i could listen to Rio tell his football stories all day long
Gallopingfish same!
What a muppet.
Yess me too😍
Same
This video will go viral in 2022 when half a dozen of these boys will be at the WC and England may well be in contention. Shout out to Rio for this great speech.
lulnug 🙌🏻🤞🏻
Sancho is potentially one of the stars of 2022
He ain’t wrong
Nah theyll flop like the 2006 team. Foden will just be another Michael Owen.
Well done on the prediction you were spot on
wow.
ferdinand goes deep.
great insight.
+Mark Gable lol. wonder if rio used to do the same.
+Mark Gable lool amazing.
They all look thrilled
+scott452 looool i know what u mean.
but it's one of those ones where they will look back in 10/20 years time n realise how much gold this was.
+MarvelContestOfChampionsBangBang Its also one of those where they tried to act cool but you know thd minute he left the room, they went nuts!!
probably begged for insta photos n all lool
+MarvelContestOfChampionsBangBang they probably realise it now, but there's not many ways you can look when someone's giving you a lecture, you just listen.
+MarvelContestOfChampionsBangBang you're definitely right about that!
Didn't expect Ferdinand to go into such detail. Always rated him as a footballer, admittedly I felt he lacked intelligence outside the realms of being a CB, until now. Before he tries to be a manager, I hope he can someday do this to Man Utd's youth prospects.
The guy is a successful restaurant owner with a well recognised online magazine, do you really think someone like that would not have brains?
***** but you still need intelligence from yourself to be able to start with
well, then it's clear that he has intelligent how to smartly spend his money
10nickthered Footballers are smart. Full stop
smart and eloquent. Do not believe the stereotype that all footballers are dumb.
+StillShiningTV Mata has a degree, Lampard had a degree and had the highest IQ in the country. So yeah, footballers are not dumb.
Highest IQ in the country? Stop talking out your arse mate.
Shahi Ahmed I'm pretty sure at the time he took his IQ test it was the highest in England. I'm not a 100% sure tho. But my bad for pointing it out if I'm indeed proven incorrect.
Stephen Hawking is still alive tho and was at the time Lamps took the test, for sure highest in football, but in a country, just no.
People are generally pretty intelligent when they talk about things they know.
Crazy to think the U16s sitting there will have basically no recollection of the 2002 world cup ..I'm old.
I was 14 during the Brazil game and I remember it well. It was on early in the morning and the headmaster at my school said we were allowed to take the morning off to watch it :)
+God of War Brings back memories, I was only nine and our school wouldn't let us watch it, so my dad let me watch it in our house and I turned up like an hour late!
+pingpongmasta My Primary school assembly hall was set up with t'v for all of the kids to watch it on. Widrscreens were not a thing at this point. i remember it so well, total cup fever!
crazy how most weren't even alive for the 98 Cup
+pingpongmasta You think that's bad? In 2002 I was 5-6 and I barely remember it? hahah
Rio teaching Sancho about CR7😍
Welcome to United Jadon!
Hopefully the next No.7 legend
Well they just won the under17 world cup so obviously took his advice on board!
will smith and some are first team ballers
Mad to see alot of these boys breaking into their first teams, i remember watching this 2 years back and not knowing a single face...
It’s funny because in October 2017 90% of the players in this room win the u17 World Cup
waiting to see him as a manager!! , boy 'o boy he will be #Motivational for players 💯
Rio was one amazing centre back in his prime. Rate him up there with the best. A real silky smooth centre back that linked up with midfield.
Spot on about Messi & Ronaldo
+Daniel Ambalavanar But in reality Messi is miles above Ronaldo.
+Jakob Horseng really... You had to go there?
can't help it... its like a disease
+Vojo samo napred Cr7 is better than Lionel Pessi*
+Vojo samo napred what about portugal when penaldo hits the post.😂😂😂 Messi has alr scored 4 goals in copa america but what about ronaldo??where is he??
WOW!
This is DEEP. I never knew Rio was so driven. What a movivation
Lorenshyne he wouldn't play for Man Utd for so long and win that many trophies if he wasn't
Amazing Q & A. Best video watched this month. Love it when you're talking about your visualisation technique - making your opponent the last thing you thought about as you put your head on the bed.
Uploads, what's happening?
In the works.
Effective Soccer Training question, why didnt nick just play Npl and work his way up from there
+Makaveli Shakur I wanted to back to europe for college and play football. Easy to do with a european passport.
+Effective Soccer Training question, does Nick run this account or someone runs it for him, because I often see you talking in third person
Everything he said was absolutely spot on especially about Messi and Ronaldo
T-Bone S1 Yep taken for granted, won't get another two players like that in generations.
Smith rowe in the audience aswell. Nice to see this ageing well
It's clear to see that Sancho has taken everything Rio said and also foden
you can apply these lessons to life
You see what Sir Alex did to Rio!! You best believe sir Alex made Rio think like this.
Darkk Ryder Fergie is a proper boss. Wenger is a youth team manager. Players don't care because that's how he has raised the gunners. No bottle. Not winners. Just there to showcase their talents so someone else will buy and make them into winners and into a man.
thatguyaga1n I know your comment is old but 100%. One of Wengers most famous quotes is "At a young age winning is not the most important thing... the important thing is to develop creative and skilled players with good confidence." That goes to show the mentality difference between the managers.
Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden, Ryan Sessegnon and Emil, sitting there.. Sancho now playing for Dortmund and got his debut for England senior team. Phil Foden playing many first team matches for city and Ryan being a starter for fullham. Emil also doing bits
And now sancho is worth 120.000.000€...
@@kaled47_ and now he’s at man united
Lucky to get advice off such a great player. Loved hearing his stories and shows success comes with hard work, his Ronaldo example is gold.
Way cool for the youth. Rio is a top role model
It is amazing how deep Rio Ferdinand goes into a story and the insight he gives is extraordinary. I want to hear similar stories from Lamps, Stevie G and John Terry.
all these people saying how the lads are slouching in their seats and look disinterested, well maybe they're in at least some awe that an England legend is taking time to talk to them, and maybe they're getting comfortable and ready to listen, not everybody has to sit up straight to show they're listening, not one of them took their eyes off of him during hat talk
Joshua Porter totally agree.
Great watch, Rio spoke very well and you could tell the lads were captivated....looks like the FA is finally doing the job correctly and has the trophies to prove it..long may it continue.
It’s so weird to se this in 2021 just look at sancho and foden now they are ⭐️
One of the best vids ive seen
its ok! i love the goalkeeper vids the most! r u aloud to come down and watch them train?
Brilliant work Rio
interesting to see all these players who in my prime were the man and the route they are now taking. Spot on and great advice.
something anyone can learn from
Great talk. Rio is one of the best all time PL defenders!
Foden and sancho what talents and foden what a performance in the ucl semi
Rio is class. Can see how he made such a success of himself because of how he talks about the game.
Suarez or Aguero, I'd pick Suarez because aside from goals, he offers more to the team, he has limitless energy, he will press defenders for days w/o getting tired, he's tenacious, agile and very durable, never gets injured. Aguero is probably the better striker, as in the way Ferdinand described him, on his day, full fitness, not having to chase people or drop deep to receive the ball, when the whole team is playing well and he's receiving service, he's the best #9. But while Aguero needs almost perfect conditions to be spectacular, Suarez could play for QPR and drive them all the way to their targets just with his tenacity and quality.
Are you being for real? With a good team around him? Aguero plays for one of the most inconsistent sides in the league and they on paper are miles ahead of everyone, doesn't work for the team? Aguero singlehandedly saves man city on a daily basis
+Emmanuel Chuku If you had put Suarez in the Man city team. They would have won the champions league by now. Just look at his movement, vision, selflessness he brings to the Barca team. Knows where to run off the ball. Great finisher, scores all different types of goals. Never injured. The guy is just a genius.
How can a guy with Flanagan, Joe Allen and Glen Johnson in a team, take Liverpool to the closest title challenge in years lol
The guy outscored Aguero too, without Silva, Yaya, Nasri.
Suarez, ridiculous footballer.
+Khalsa A I'm not doubting how good of a footballer Suarez is, he would not have won the treble if he wasn't, I'm just saying if Aguero was in that team also he would play just as well
+Matt Josh Spot on! I highly rate Agüero, but he's not on the level of Suarez. You can't even compare them. Sturridge is more similar or a slightly worse version of Agüero, who is right now the best striker in the BPL, after Suarez left.
+Emmanuel Chuku Aguero won't or cant do the running Suarez does for Barcelona, he has to press defenders and then sometimes even go and put pressure on the holding midfielder so Barca can win the ball back faster. He does all that running and never gets injured, with Messi and Neymar in that team, they don't need an Aguero type striker, they need an all round beast who will do will lead the line, press defenders, hold the ball up, run in behind, make assists and an added bonus, score lots of goals, Suarez will give you all that and almost never miss a game, Aguero will score you goals but be unfit for 15-20 games a season with either injury or recovery from injury
Well done Rio, this is amazing for the youth
And then they win the u17 World Cup
Foden, sancho, smith-Rowe many more talents there just sitting there now being some of the best talent in the uk
Legend, great words for young footballers, especially defenders
Whose hear when sancho is playing for Man U now
Don't think the kid with the blonde quiff at 1:34 realizes how lucky he is to be getting such a lecture from such an amazing former player
Oscar in your opinion. You have no idea what that kid is thinking.
Emile Smith rowe
horrible posture for sure
@@vantheman1234 doesnt matter. posture is disrespectful
@@TheRafaelBond Suppose it doesn't matter much now he's tearing it up for Arsenal
Great insight indeed. Inside the mind of a winner and a leader. I hope those u16's got a lot from that.
I have always admired Rio Ferdinand !! and I'm a Spurs fan !!
Wow one of the best upcoming talents itw in that room.. Sancho is near Skipp too
Excellent insight, well presented.
Top video. Honest and insightful
Crazy to think when Rio was speaking to them they had no idea that some of them would go on to win the World Cup 2 years later
What a legend!
What a talk. There is a man who thinks on the pitch. Clever guy.
He has every quality to manage a Premier league team
They won the under17 world cup......I remember which was held in India....in 2017...foden was the player of tournament...Brewster was the golden boot ..
Well spoken Rio.... Hope they realise how good this opportunity is listening to one of England's best ever defenders
this is absolutely brilliant #Rio #
BCFC fan here, total respect for this Guy could be a great Manager one day.
Amazing insight from Rio 🔥
Rio pours his heart out and the kids just sit there looking gormless,If this is england's future then I fear for england's future
+Mark Reeves its called listening lol what are they suppose to be doing?
they look bored and disinterested
very hard to judge how interested someone is or how well they are listening by their appearance lol. i think your being a bit harsh is all lad. they look to me to be normal 16 year olds. they also look like they are listening quite well.
+Mark Reeves that's what people look like when they're listening.
+Mark Reeves Agreed, should of let the kids ask some questions instead of that one guy
What a great guy
This was beautiful I hope Rio becomes a coach one day.
These players are still so Young and talentens 2018
To think some of those people are some of the best young players in the world is crazy
Rio is genuine class.
Rio is great....well done lad.
Great stuff from Rio.
This speech is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is good. I can not only relate this to football but to other areas of my life.
This is a mad video , even a young smith rowe in there too 🔥🔥
Incredible to see this group of players win the World Cup.
Rio the OG!
this is great and should be doe more! this how we can improve grass root football!
This guys a legend
I've watched this about 20 times now .
One of the best
Great motivational video
Best insight ever
great stuff rio
this is deep mate. I just learnt a lot
He's sooo rago! lol love it!
Love this
HERO
Phil-foden , Ian Carlo , Ryan sessongeon , Jadon Sancho , Danny namaso , Nya Kirby , steven sessongeon
marc guehi and emile smith rowe were there too
Great insights
I've really taken to Rio since he's retired.
Quite a few of them sparked now like sancho, smith rowe, sessegnon etc
he was one of the best center backs of my childhood years, fabio cannavaro, alessandro nesta, and rio ferdiand were the ones for me. From his career i can remember that he was an arrogant fella ,full of fun but never thought that he could ever be able to deliver this kind of speech, man, this video again proves that you were best at what you were doing thruout your career, simply this is a man just delivering exactly what he was doing, (not really throwing an advice).
The Italians no doubt. but Puyol Terry Ramos even Vidic were all better
+rudy liberato Ramos better than Nesta? I dunno about that
+rudy liberato Ramos > Rio? ur having a laugh, mate
his style 👌
Respect
look at them all sloping back in their seats
joe leeman what's your point
they don't look like they want to be there
They're teenagers, what do you expect?
Where's the need to be a moron and call people names? You sit in an interview like they did then you have no chance. They clearly haven't got any people skills.
Kevin Plaskett this ain't a interview
I’d keep listening to him for days
I love how even from the start foden was on the vids title
I use to play football with someone called Jack Nolan but he managed to get scouted for Portsmouth Fc and progressed to play for England and he is at Reading now. Liverpool offered 100k for him but he wants to play for Southampton soon. Honestly he plays Lm and is brilliant
Amazing
I see Phil Foden, Jaden Sancho & I think that's Sessagnon at 0:05 there. Brilliant.
This video was December 2015, they'd all be 14/15. Wrong age group mate. These guys are all 18/19 now.
steve ferninho they're under 16s mate, meaning they were 15or 16 two years ago. It's them.
crazy to see some future england faces. Phil foden Ryan sessegnon one of them looks like jadon sancho
great video
man i love this, i want this so much for my country that my country, we, paved the way out for our best players, i am turkish guys and gals, we ve been there in 2000s, we were coping with the century year old nations, we had beaten Arsenal in the final, we got UEFA cup, because all these guys had been playing at the level since 90, i mean they got A team level as long as it was 96'. And four years more playing at the the top level as same as the Italian, Spanish, and English teams, i am sorry but the Italians were the top back in then, Serie A was the top league, they were collecting everything. And there was Bayern Munchen, that was something out of ordinary for me in that time. In 99, they lost champions league in 2 minutes and that was crazy, i couldnt believe my eyes, it was Man Utd that made it possible, İt was Sir Alex running down the bench, That was the point I started what was English football , i mean how could that it be possible to win a game like that has the utmost importance in that much period of time ? I couldnt find the answer, i was 9 , my mind was elsewhere. But i kept asking how? What made that red and white shirt guys got over the purple and red guys from Germany ? I kept asking this while we had been thourgh the second champions league final, All that year this question kept my mind busy. And i am thankful to Man Utd for making me that busy with the football.
Brilliant
I hope and pray English clubs and the FA invest in these young players and build on that winning thing
Isn't that axel Tuazebe sitting next to him? Now playing for United U21s at 18 years old and made 3 first team appearances at CB 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽⚽️⚽️
