SHOOT me a message on IG FAMILY!! - Zábava
Britney Spears seems to be the only celebrity Matt and Trey have a secret soft spot for.
And robert smith. Except its not secret at all
Well it’s because this was a situation where she really didn’t deserve the drama
I wasn’t in America when the Britney Spears thing happened, I was a baby in a different country. But for Trey and Matt to DEFEND her, I can’t imagine how bad it was.
@@downd.stairs8313 It was horrible! I was a teenager when that shit was happening and I remember flipping through the channels on TV and couldn’t believe how vicious and sadistic the media was to her and what backstabbing parasites her family are.
@@matthewmangan6251 She really didn’t. I’ve always kinda felt bad for her. She seems like such a sweet country girl who’s been exploited her whole life.
This is definitely one of South Park’s best episodes. I like the nuance of taking shots at the paparazzi rather than the celebrity in question, while subtly referencing The Lottery by Shirley Jackson
Oh God I forgot about that movie. I haven't seen it, but I saw the scene they referenced with the paparazzi crowd closing in on her.
I think Cartman dipped because he thought the job was done, and the sweet, sweet corn was secure.
Nah Cartman was smart he left so he wouldn't get in trouble😂
This episode has really aged so well cause this shit is still happening with so many other celebrities it's actually suffocating. Its essentially taking up stalking as a job and people find it OK that the moment the celebs defend themselves they get it even worse. Vultures all of them
There were most likely people who really thought SP were making fun of Britney; though in reality it comes off more as SP making fun of how out of pocket the paparazzi be and it's not far fetched from what happens irl
From what I hear the paparazzi will sit outside celebs houses for days just to catch them looking out a window or something like that's pretty much just being a stalker and calling it a job
@@seandaniels7938 ngl I forgot I left this comment lol but yea I agree: it's one thing when it's a public event but once you start invading personal lives it starts getting out of pocket and stalking
The part with Britney being sacrificed is a reference to Shirley Jackson’s short story called: the lottery, where a village does a lottery each year and whoever get the white paper with the black dot gets stoned to de@th by the whole village no matter how old the winner is.
7:05 You have an uncanny valley to set yourself up for the joke SP was about to give you. This is amazing.
LOL the "Leave Britney Alone" guy was Chris Crocker, not PewDiePie
True, but both are jackasses.
"tf she gonna say? Gargle gargle" had me weak😂😂
the ending is a parody of a famous short story. The Lottery by Shirley Jackson... its super heavy.
Yeah. Even some of the dialogue is from the story.
The pterodactyl scream is a reference to the 1978 remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, down to the coat the guy's wearing.
this south park episode of Britany spears is UNHINGED ASF🤣
30:04 your chanting was spot on, you could be a cult leader quizzy
Damn haven't seen this episode in ages.
this episode is a reference to a book called “The Lottery” , one of the few books i remember reading in high school
Let's be real, Quizzy, if you were in Stan and Kyle's position, and they had told you about what was really going on, then they all started singing that same song... you'd join in too! Last thing you wanna do, for your own safety, is stand out by being the one _not_ singing.
When I heard KRATOS! Like reminds me of god of war😂
That one video of the guy screaming leave Britney alone gets proven more and more right every day.
Cartman didn't even take a picture hahahaha
It must’ve been aliens, like the one seen in one of the dancer booths @ 16:00 that somehow kept Britney alive after she blew her head off. 👽
Butters look do cute in the squirrel suit
People don't ever see it from the star's point of view
I don't think humans were meant to have millions of lights flashing , taking pictures of you and all that
I always wondered if all these flashing cameras could cause some things to develop like health conditions like epilepsy. What about if they already have it and all those cameras flashing in the face
One of the first eps I ever watched 😂💀
I remember back in those days the news stations used to cover her antics all the time
yo your obama impression was surprisingly good. 8/10
It always cracks me up that they blurred Britney's face for being too disturbing but left her pissing on the ladybug completely clear.
One thing good about being sick man look bro when you fart you don’t need to smell your own farts 😂
This episode was always the one that made me uncomfortable. This is for me, like the Chef death episode is to you.
This episode is a parody of "The Lottery" if you've ever read the book. They basically pick someone to 'sacrifice' by doing the lottery and the person that got chosen got stoned to death. The man with the brown hat and outfit (Old Man Warner) and Bob Summers is based on the characters in "The Lottery" In this episode instead of Britney getting 'stoned to death' she basically getted 'photographed to death'
20:25 they also reused the zombie lookin dude screaming in the black friday trilogy
Oh man, this episode is crazy
This is one of my favorites.
Can I nominate Logan Paul for the next corn harvest?
(Just kidding... kinda)
i always hated that cheesy pop music and despised people who listen to it but at the same time i always felt so bad for britney. and all child stars growing up under such traumatic circumstances. the shit that showbusiness puts these kids through is worse than child abuse and grooming combined and i cant believe it's not illegal.
YAY MORE SOUTH PARK
Butters as always the most moral character
26:31 If he wore one of those old news boy hats, he'd look just like Farmer Hoggett.
Electrolytes plants crave it LOL LOL
Fun fact: There was an alien in one of the dancer booths at 16:00
Speaking of “leave Britney alone” you gotta do Canada on strike episode! Og youtube memes
This is a perfect representation of how brutal it is. They keep going until there's nothing left of you.
I got the six flag dancing man reference too quick with my old ass
This was a disturbing episode
Britney 💅spears just wanna be alone and be in peace 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
We're is Cartman at I think he left south park 😂
Awww....The Lottery.
I can't wait til you see the jersey shore ep lmao
lit ep
I'm talking a shot in the dark but I'm guessing you never heard of Big Mike...
lol @ 12:06
This was fucked up
Quizzy I'd love some more King of the hill, but PLEASE give us more Venture Bros.
I don't know who would consider camel toes embarrassing. They rock!
For me this episode is just too uncomfortable to watch
See, this is why I want to be famous for being more of a behind-the-scenes guy, Like Matt Groening or Luke Pearson (or, you know, Matt and Trey) - that way, only the people who are actually fans of my works will know about me, and the most exposure I'll get is when I appear at cons and similar events. Win-win, eh?
Hetus! Alte omnebus! Virtu e poquebus! Retus! Hoc honebus!
Im impressed by your Obama impersonation . Sounded like that mofo
This is one of the only South Park episodes I genuinely can't stand. Holy shit, it's gross lol.
I have a bit of mild autism over people talking with their mouth full. The slurping noises they do for Britney are deeply repulsive to me, I physically cannot handle it, this is one of the only episodes I don’t ever rewatch
@@TheCapedWanderer I handled it a lot better back in 2015, 2 years after I got into the show, but now Britney with the top of her head missing and that fucking noise, Jesus Christ, I wouldn't be able to watch the whole thing without wanting to throw up anymore lol.
@@hmlandis1370 come to think of it Season 12 was the first one I watched as it aired: 8th grade. It’s a wonder I stuck with it, I actually remember the queazy feeling this episode gave me. But after all, it is Season 12: Tonsil Trouble, Breast Cancer, Super Fun Time, Mr. Cartmenez, Pandemic 2: the Starling, a stacked selection that more than makes up for some extreme discomfort at Britney’s New Look. And I remember that episode also taught me about the fame->fucked pipeline, to have sympathy/pity for young icons, not jealousy/spite. South Park as usual taking it too far only to make a point that’s worth the discomfort. But goddamn, did they have to have her ‘sing’ with those gurgling noises? Yikes!
@@TheCapedWanderer Season 17 was the first season I watched as it was airing since I started watching South Park in the spring of 2013.
Those locs fire af
Ayyyeeee I appreciate that
12:06 This is a reference to the classic film Invasion of the Body Snatchers czcams.com/video/GEStsLJZhzo/video.html&ab_channel=XanxiuZ
I had a boss that said she was “looking for tattoos at work and literally pulled my pants down at work and exposed my “parts “ to everyone I worked with and when I yelled for her to get off me and for the manager to call the cops she says” that’s nothing to be ashamed of and guys like showing their “parts” to everyone “ I called the owner and I was told because I went outside to talk to the police and make a report I abandoned my job post and was fired. The ended up moving her to another store location and did nothing! I even said if I did that to a woman I would be arrested! Even the cops did nothing and she just got away with it while I got fired. This was back in around 2001 so I’m sure nothing can be done but just saying there is definitely a double standard in the law.
The place was an old folks home named shady knoll in Seymour ct and the woman’s name was Brenda
I think you could make a legal case although due to time it might be your word against hers
Man, the stupidity of this episode can only be paralleled by that Canada on strike episode.😂😂
Celebrities might have to deal with some things that normal people don't have to deal with. But they also don't have to deal with a lot more things that normal people do have to deal with.
Healthcare, housing, travel, even time itself. Paparazzi's making you sad? Go cry on your yacht outside a beach in Hawaii. 😑
