      @@genodanao508 Hi Geno. Jono here from OwnerDrive and owner of the Toyota Granvia reviewed above. The Alphard or Vellfire are both purpose-built people movers that have plenty to offer and certainly would have been on my shopping list had Toyota Australia stocked these. Unfortunately, we can only get our hands on these as a 'grey' import and with the added expense and uncertainties around warranty and the availability of parts in Australia this did discourage us from considering it. If you have any other questions about the Toyota Granvia then please feel free to ask and I will get back to you. Cheers

    Just bought one after watching your review ! I’m getting 15L/100km ! Ouch are you getting similar ?

    • @OwnerDrive
      @OwnerDrive  Před 2 lety

      Hi Jeremy. Always interested to hear from another Granvia owner. No we have never hit 15. Ours sits in the 11s. Occasionally nudges 12. How long have you had it?

      @@OwnerDrive I’ve had it 1 month from brand new. I put on all terrain tyres on as live on a steep driveway. But I wouldn’t expect 450k per tank. And then the price of fuel now ouch. I heard brand new diesels and thirst when new. I’m hoping it calms down as 15kL is rough. The tyres shouldn’t make it that bad. And I drive really easy.

      @@jezebel58 Hey Jeremy. Yes I think everyone is feeling it at the bowser right now. Yep 450ks is not great. We are averaging 550ks. I agree that tyres shouldn't impact it that much. We didn't notice much different when it was new either. Only thing I can think of would have to be the difference in driving environment. Are you spending long periods of time in stop start city traffic?

      I have had mine three weeks, it’s a Dec 21 model and have got it down to 8.8 but sits around 9 most of the time I drive it at around 115km per hour

    Did you have any warnings on the dash when you removed the rear seat?

    • @OwnerDrive
      @OwnerDrive  Před 2 lety

      Not with the rears, but if you remove the other rows you will get a warning light. Airbag one comes on from memory. Good question!

    How do you take the rails that the seats sit on out of the Toyota granvia

    • @OwnerDrive
      @OwnerDrive  Před 2 lety

      Hi Corina. Yes you can but it is more involved and you really only want to be doing it if you plan on leaving the seats out permanently. You have to remove the plastic trim on the sides and lift the carpet. You can then unbolt the entire rail system. Do you own a Granvia?

    I’ve only got 2 boys but lots of bikes. How much room on a tape measure behind second row?

    • @OwnerDrive
      @OwnerDrive  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Tim. Depends how much foot room your boys need, as you can slide the second row back and forth over quite a long range. But I'll get back to you with a rough min and max.
