      Alphard 3.5 naturally aspirated engine makes 360NM
      This 2.8 found in the Prado, Fortuner, Hiace models, Innova makes 450NM of torque.....

    It's a really nice car other than its box like shape but it just needs the V6 petrol. But still it's a pretty nice car inside.

      Yes by modern standards the 3.5 is thirsty, but it's n/a and literally has close to 300hp. Perhaps the 2.4T will perform better overall

    Power ratio : 15kg/ps or if you prefer: 66ps/tonne . This Diesel engine is stronger than i thought. But this car is really(excessive) heavy! Even though 12.3" in 0-62mph is not bad for a minivan, i think is average for this car segment! So i see a pretty good family man car !

      @@RS-nq8xk The V6 Toyota Alphard is a really nice car. The vans i was talking about are just examples. Im sure there are much quciker vans than the ones i gave as example.

      @@RS-nq8xk We had a 3.5 V6 2007 nissan elgrand and when you floor it the car would just pull crazily. Its 0-100 is like 8-9 secs so it isnt that fast off the line but when going with like 60kph if you floor it, it will just pull.

      A private jet that isn't moving anywhere in a hurry. They could also rip the seats out and use it as a hearse as those things don't need to go fast.

      It's a pretty good engine however, it's the same engine from the Prado 2.8 diesel and Fortuner diesel.
      This engine is not about performance, it's about pulling all passengers and the vehicle itself effortlessly,
      Plus it's a Toyota and 174hp for 2.8l makes the engine last longer as there's less power for displacement and that's what Toyota is about

    If I was rich and wanted to be chauffeured around, this would almost be a decent pick. Except the exterior is vomit inducing, and I wouldn't want people to think I'm being driven around in a courier van like a parcel.

      I was expecting it to be slower. 2.5 tonnes and only a 4 cylinder 2.8 turbo diesel. I reckon it should have at least a 3.5 V6 petrol.
