I've been trying to give this host a chance since this pod first showed up but I just can't anymore. Takers in the middle of a story and he's half engaged and more interested about the notification on his watch. You're with the fucking undertaker.
He doesn't know wrestling either. He's just some dude that's friends with taker with no podcasting experience or wrestling knowledge. People that are listening to a podcast like this are probably hardcore fans and each one of us individually know a lot more wrestling than this guy does. It's not working.
The cohost has a wife and kids. Lay off. The notification could be related to that. Just enjoy the podcast

@@edrenzulli33I’d rather listen to Undertaker relax and shoot the shit with a guy he’s genuinely friends with, than listen to him be interviewed in an overly formal manner by a fan with so much reverence for him that it’s just overly serious the whole time. That’s literally what makes this podcast entertaining to listen to compared to any interview he’s done, it’s a different side of him. We get to hear how he banters with his buddies. It’s nice that the cohost isn’t just fawning over him the whole time because he’s a legend. It’s more of a laidback relaxed discussion.
@@trancebruh3231 I get your point but it isn't about replacing him with a fan that is going to fawn over Taker. There is a middle ground. I'm just looking for more professionalism out of respect for Taker and more wrestling knowledge out of respect for the wrestling fans.

Got to sit down for dinner with RVD & Sabu, the food was getting set up away from us on a long row of tables and a seated Sabu asked: "So, do we wait?" This host is getting worse. Mark has to carry the conversation and he seems to lack knowledge of wrestling on a basic level. Him checking his watch was highly disrespectful and I'm glad Mark said something. And Yokozuna's name is misspelled 😒

I watched wrestling since 1988. I never understood the hype about yoko being so great. He was too big to do very much in the ring. Then they said he put on too much weight. He looked the same to me in 1995 as he did in 1997 when he left, and I never noticed his abilities being any different.
Not sure what you were watching, he was smaller as Kokina, gained weight when he debuted as Yokozuna, then kept getting bigger by 1995, then they started sending him to fat camps to lose weight.he could still put on matches but wasn't as agile

Well he was one of the Headshrinkers in like 92 or 93, then he had a horrible gimmick called the Sultan, then a few more things before he became dancing Rikishi with Too Cool. So he was around a bit before the Attitude Era.
