I was hesitant, no disinterested, in quilting because the times I tried - I could never get things lined up just right and my work looked like a two year old had a fight with a raccoon.
But a friend brought over one of your books and she talked me into giving quilting another try. I produced in 1 1/2 days a large lap quilt that turned out perfect. I have made three of your quilts and hope to collect all your books. I bought the one that is out of print and am now starting a new quilt tomorrow. Thank you so much for the creativity, simplicity and quality you put into your books and these patterns. My husband saw how much I fell in love with quilting because of you so he is building a Longarm Machine Quilting Frame. It should be done soon. Thank you thank you!

I want to mash up the Dinner is Served and a dinosaur fabric like the one you used into one quilt because it made me think of the dining room scene in Jurassic park and I loved the combination of all the colors together! As always I totally enjoyed this video, thank you!!

I never see the back of your quilts. Do you use a totally different fabric or pick one of the three that's located on the front?
Where is your sound system I can't understand you,
Hi Jacki, I'm so sorry! We've had several people say they can't hear, but many more who can. I'm not sure why this is happening. Just make sure the CZcams sound and your computer sound are both turned up. Donna
@@FabricCafe I hate to complain. I just love your quilts, You and your quilt books and my fabric stash are what is keeping me sane during this pandemic. I am in a high risk group and only leave the house to go to the docrors. Quilting, knitting and sewing keep me away from the disturbing news on TV. Thank you for all you do. I'm looking forward to both your book and your daughters book. Jacki
I always look forward to your videos but there seems to be a problem with the sound level 🤔
I am so sorry you couldn't hear me. We are not sure what the issue is. We are using a brand-new sound system and although a few haven't been able to hear clearly, most seem to be getting the sound. We will look into to see if there is something we can do differently. Meanwhile, please check to see if the sound is turned up on the CZcams screen as well as your phone. Donna
@@FabricCafe Donna, thank you so much for your reply. I do not wish to complain - the work you and the team put out each week is amazing and I just love watching. I live in Ireland, am in the vulnerable age group (!) and as we are now in Level 5 lockdown for the next six weeks, your videos form some of the bright spots of the week. The sound on my tablet was really low, the phone and computer marginally better. I have one print book, Modern Views, and because it took so long to reach here I bought the two downloadable ones from your website. I love, love your colour choices and again really appreciate all of the hard work that goes into your presentations. Best wishes to everyone and stay well.

Need to get the microphone closer or turn up your Volume...my phone is on highest setting and can barely hear you
