KIOTI CK2620 Building an access road with Top and tilt kit

- In this #timelapse video, I build a #access #road to the bottom of my property with my brand new #kioti #ck2620 . This tractor is practically the same as its predecessor the #ck2610 My property is steep and all sand so this project poses a few challenges for a #compacttractor watch as I work through those challenges and #build a road start to finish. I use my brand new Kioti CK2620 with a loader and #boxblade with a #topandtilt kit. The top and tilt kit allows you to pitch the box blade, side to side and front and back for total control of the cutting edges. I check for #soilcompaction before I put down #decomposedgranite. For most of the fill dirt, I haul it in using my #heavydutydumptrailer . Don't forget about #erosioncontrol I started with seeding the hillside then I covered it with straw, watered it, and staked straw #wattles in place for sediment control. Don't forget to Subscribe! This supports the channel and allows me to make more videos. Thank you for watching and don't forget to subscribe.

@@craftsmanslifestyle this was interesting to watch this from start to finish! Thanks for the commentary and step by step process!
You're very welcome. I'm new to this and learning.
@@craftsmanslifestyle Great Job! I will continue to watch, like and share!
@@aaronburford5701 thank you so much!
I appreciate you.
Heck yeah. I have a CK 2610 2 years old. Awesome tractor 👍🏻
I like what you said about using your dump trailer all the time. I use mine non stop. If someone wants to invest in a tractor they should save money for a dump trailer to go with it.
100% agree with that statement
Great video! Some good tips here, I need to fix up a bunch of ‘roads’ around here.
First time watching this. Excellent job! Video, angles, views are great!! and content was a learning experience. Thank you.
You’re welcome and thank you for your support!
Looks great before raining! LOL
Thank you! We've got a lot of heavy rain this year too! It's holding up great.

It’s perfect for what I need it for.
Such a great project!
Thank you Hunter!
I have to do the same thing at my place
putting some hours on that new Kioti
Hey, where did you get your top and tilt kit from? I can find top links all over but I’m having a hard time finding a tilt cylinder that has the right throw length with the correct ends for my CK4020. Any info you can provide would be appreciated.
I got mine from the dealer www.youtube.com/@sanjoaquintractor4806 at the time of sale. I do know summit Hydraulics has them here==> summit-hydraulics.com/product-category/hydraulic-cylinders/cylinder-kits/side-link-kits/ but I cant speak to the quality as I haven't used them. I hope this helps and thank you for watching.
Sure does. Thanks for getting back to me.
Absolutely, always happy to help.
i see your loads are light, like about 3000 light if not 4000 light , it is designed to carry 10,000 , mine is 12' x 7 with extra cross members on 12" centers so the 14' is about 4000 to 4200 lbs , any ways. Your monkeys, your zoo. Great involving your boy, I still member most every time at kindengarden age riding while plowing with granpa and dad on the ford 8 or 9 N - plowin and discin.
Yah that’s more so because I didn’t want my tired truck that needs a rebuild rear end to grenade
I didn't see you put geotextile fabric under the driveway . Why? I didn't put any under my driveway. I hope I haven't messed up my driveway. I'm not a expert.
Actually, that was just a small strip of tarp covered with rockto catch runoff, so it didn’t erode the side of the hill for the first year or two. I’ll bring in more base after that and fill it all in.
How you liking the CK2620?
I love it. Strong enough to do anything I need to do and still small enough. I will be doing a full review shortly.
