I started with the betafpv advanced kit 2 after watching your review . This looks like another good starter kit to get someone into the hobby.
Yes the Iron quad is amazing! Betafpv really helps beginners get a smooth start into the hobby.
I think I like the advance kit than the Cetus pro
I really like the little device with which you can see how much power is left in a battery, I fly the Rhyze Tello drone myself and it is possible to see how much power is left in the battery by using an external app, but it's just so much more efficient this way.
Hi Steve. Having watched this review several times, I have now just taken delivery of my Cetus Pro! This is my first foray into FPV and I'm looking forward to the challenge. It will be a good diversion from my DJI Mini2. Great product and well recommended. Doug

Apparently the pro drone can be purchased just by itself and will work with previous kit.

How does this compare to your flying experience with the Mini 2?
@@TheSonsOfSimon Don't know yet. I'm still waiting on delivery of the drone, but with my mini I fly line of sight and then look down at the controller and my cell phone when I'm recording video. I'm curious how flying in the goggles will be, as well as the different speed modes.

I just bought my husband one of these and he's flying it with no issues in regular and sport mode not comfortable with manual yet but he is saying it drifts to the right by itself is there a way to fix that?

I bought this drone recently, I'm having an issue with flying inside. When I hit something and start crashing it seems like the props spin up during the crash.. why is that

Mine drifts to the right how do you trim it so with the sticks centered the quad will stay stable not drift to the right.i need to hold the right stick somewhat to the left to keep it in front of me any info on this would be much appreciated. Thanks.
It could be your props (check if they are all correct, undamaged). Also, there probably is a setting to place the quad flat and then calibrate the gyro. I have not tried it, but that is a common setting in FPV drones.

I just buyed the betafpv advanced starter kit second hand because i dont need optical flow or that stuff because im training now for 6 months in liftof sim

You could probably order extra batteries direct from BETAFPV.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thank you for this. I guess I may most like have to wait for the rumoured "DJI FPV Mini" or go for something else, like cinewhoop (but the "hassle" of getting the other key accessories, like extra batteries goggles etc are some turn off).
Hi. My cetus pro goggles won't turn on and when I charge the light is on but when I stop charging the lights turn off. Even when I flip the switch it doesn't power
If I had to guess, since I’m not BetaFPV tech support, I’d say your usb power source is the issue (either way too high or not sufficient), so try others.

Nice review! What would you recommend between this drone and a Geprc Tinygo 4k? I come from a DJI Mini and I would like to try fpv
DJI Drones teach people bad habits since the drone does all the work for you, so this is currently the only FPV Kit on the market designed for people coming from the GPS Camera Drone hobby. All the other kits assume that you have hand/eye coordination. Flying GPS camera drones kills that ability in humans :-)
Is the manual like all the rest?
You need a translator to read the English and when you can finally read it is says basically charge it and your on your own?

Float upside down? It can flip in the air if desired.

Got my Cetus Pro after watching this video but the altitude hold function just doesn't work. As soon as I throttle up the whoop takes off and drifts to one side. I can't get it to auto hover at all. Any tips?
If the camera on the bottom is over a pattern it should hold the drone in place.

Ha ha, I'm not the one to ask since I'm not a beginner pilot. That is a question for a beginner FPV pilot who has the same skill level as you.

I have a question. I've had this drone for a couple weeks and love it. But why is it that whenever I perform a yaw spin the drone quickly loses altitude and will not recover until I stop performing the yaw spin? I have to throttle up when performing a yaw spin in order to maintain altitude which is really annoying. Is that normal? If not, is it fixable? I'm using the drone in S-mode if that matters.

If you have snow on the video feed, then it could be either that the wrong BAND and CHANNEL is selected or there is interference

Yes. All analog goggles on the market will be compatible.

Been watching your vids and narrowed it down to this or the tiny hawk III. Leaning more towards tiny hawk , thoughts? Coming from a DJI mini 2
If you are coming from the Camera Drone hobby (DJI MINI 2) then learning to fly FPV will be difficult as you will have developed bad hand/eye coordination habits (i.e., your reactions are slower and out of sync), so the CETUS or the new EMAX RTF (just released) would be good.

Other CETUS models come with a DVR as well as the EMAX versions.
I got this for Christmas, my only issue is that when I use the turtle mode it also changes the vtx channel after it's no longer upside down (so I need to search on the headset again) . Not a huge issue and I'm sure it's my fault somehow.
That should not occur. Sounds like you are hitting the switch for VTX or your VTX switch is combined with Turtle Mode switch.

The video should tell you. Usually flight times on tiny drones is 5 minutes standard.

Do you mean a full sized insta360? If so, then Nope. If you mean an INSTA360 GO, then some of the larger small whoops could carry it.

Thank you very much, this is very informative video! I have one question about this drone. It is written in their documentation that it should be disarmed when it crashes or hits an obstacle. Mine doesn’t do it. Is it an issue with a sensor or something or there are settings for that? I haven’t found it.
I don't believe it automatically disarms (mine doesn't), you have to disarm it. Of course if it lands or flips on its back, it will shut off.

Yep, I saw in many reviews it is disarming automatically and it is written in their documentation: "The quadcopter comes with an excellent self-protection function....It will also automatically disarm and drop on the ground once there is a strong collision with the object. Let's say goodbye to loss and crash!" Maybe there is something in settings I don't know. I will try to ask them on their portal.

So how to you connect fatsharks to other drones,
FATSHARKs mostly connect to any ANALOG drone. It is as simple as just tuning into the video signal.

This really is a cool drone. Have you been able to get it to connect to betaflight? I am not able to get it to connect I have a Comm Port but I cannot get it to connect no matter what I try it just times out after 10 seconds
