@@virginiajohnson5922 definitely he has his new siblings but the major kudos go to his new dads; cute fur brothers and sisters are great but of all of my rescues and fosters (dogs and cats, and I’ve had MANY of both) agree they all needed a human parent to pick up the check, snuggle with under the covers with the fireworks go boom and buy them the special food they like that costs more for one bag than what mom pays for all of her all of her own dinners in week combined😂

My wife and I have a very similar situation, I purchased a little dog away from a very unhealthy situation. Her name was Lucy, but we renamed her Abby. She's very similar to Mervin... small, part Yorkie and Chihuahua (I believe). She is also VERY possessive of daddy! Loves to share "her" yogurt with daddy in the morning. She's so much more healthy and strong now, properly fed and cared for and very well loved indeed! So it was hard to watch this video without having a few tears because of such a similar situation! Thanks so much for being caring parents to your pups! I'm glad they have a great home with you all!

Actually, teeth or no teeth doesn't make a difference. My Pomeranian lost all his teeth in the last couple of years of his life, his tongue would also stick out through the side, but people would still be scared and/or ask me if he would bite.

We have a feisty little guy, too. Sadly, he is just days away from walking over that rainbow bridge, where he can be young, healthy, and happy once more. Cancer, too. My wife is having a very rough week...and she won't be any better come the weekend. I am having a difficult time writing this with all the tears welling up...

I’m so sorry to hear that, I had 2 dogs that got so sick they didn’t realize who I was and one of them bit me on the leg but, not hard. They were only 8 when they were put down I i definitely miss them. I know how you feel but, if I miss them or wish they’re still alive, and there is nothing wrong with wishing that, but my dogs are in a happier place now and aren’t in pain anymore. That’s what I do. I’m also sorry to hear that your wife had a rough week. I’ll keep you and your family in my prayers! Have an amazing day!!! 😁
Beautie Bird: Thank you for your kind words. As an update, our little man went to sleep that following Monday - after a weekend of being constantly held and cared for. He had to know we loved him so much. God, it still hurts...and my eyes are watering...and I am no big baby type, either.
