I appreciate the effort to keep Nepali vintage cars but the real winner are those who owned these cars back when no one could afford. 60s - early 90s original car owners should be respected.

The main reason our elder generation had collected such golden classic cars was because our economy were all time high before 40 years back. We were emerging country back then in SAARC countries having high numbers of manufacturing industries after India during those days. Panchayat tried to dig the foundation of Industrial growth…

its more of a luxury car i see nowadays than the classic cars which is rare. People driving the X3 and X4 BMWs, Mercedes,Lexus, Land Rovers, Teslas, 2 Audis, Porsche, Jaguar, and a Suzuki jimny are definitely sick

Old cars are not safer, they may have stronger steel bodies, but laws of physics still apply when colliding and newer cars with air bags, better seat belt, and advanced engineering are obviously safer. Ani tax natireko penalties kina exempt garne ra? With possession of such classic cars, you obviously have means to pay whatever is due, just pay it. Ani last maa I do like the idea of separate number plates and tax break for some classic cars to run only during holidays.
the only thing i want the nepal government to do is being able to modify your cars
and obviously being the reason there is hardly any scope for car industry and the products being way too expensive.
I am also passionated about classic cars but i disagree about not paying taxes while middle class people are paying in full .. Shaukh ko lagi cars rakhne ho bhane tax tirna parcha .. Sanibar matra chalaune ho ki sabai din chalaune hos .. Just pay taxes .. I just don’t understand the point of this gentleman why he doesn’t want to pay taxes while others have to pay taxes in full ..
When you say Vintage car it should be above 1976. Then the govt should make them tax free. You should be able to drive them everyday why only on saturdays. If it's well maintained why shouldn't you drive it everyday

This man at the beginning said that older cars are safer and less likely to survive in a crash in new cars. 🤣 Idk what he means by that. Because new cars must meet safety standards and most of them are rated 5 stars in safety. And most of the old cars doesn’t even have air bags. New cars may not be safe as to being quicker than the old cars and so they are more likely to get in a crash but new cars have better brakes too, handles better, have more safety equipments and technology. I’m a big classic car guy by the way.
Old are slow but safe, no need airbags coz their speed didn't require airbag, old are safer to survive in an accident coz are made with solid tin or metal frame; modern are made with plastic or tin sheet.. 😊
@@bpaliardiaries4324Offroaders yeah that’s true but new cars have reliable brakes compare to old cars and technology in new cars have evolved so much that it prevents cars from getting in accidents. Even if it does, air bags play a big role in saving lives. If these things weren’t better they wouldn’t have adapted it.
There are certain car brands in Nepal which have 0 safety stars and still people are buying it
@@johankhadka7157 I’m sure there are some cause the cars are so expensive in Nepal with taxes and all. So most of the people can only afford cars that are cheaper in price and cheaper cars aren’t great in safety ratings.
@@kashsres1064 Its the governments taxes that makes the cars extremely expensive especially if it is made outside India. And the infrastructure is not great either. The members of the government themselves drive in land cruisers and pajeros which they do not buy from their own money and they do not need to pay the taxes as well and don't give a rats ass about what the people do. In Nepal government vehiceles including ambulances and foreign diplomats cars do not pay high taxes/taxes in general. And people buying cars also look for resale value which is probably popular in other countries too. They look for resale value without even experiencing their cars and think the car is bad if it has poor resale value

I am big fan of classic muscle coupes but now If i owned one I would convert it to electric. I love the shapes of classic cars. I used to love the sound too but now with Ktm pollution coming on worlds top polluted city. We need to change this. Not just old classics even the new ones we need to stop buying diesel and petrol cars and start buying Electric. Specially in Nepal where there is so much corruption in diesel and petrol and we are building so many Hydropower plants we need to start using them.

Lord Shiva's original name is Paruhang in Kirati language.
God Shiva was originally a shaman of a Shamanistic religion followed by the Kiratis
The Kirat (Sanskrit: किरात) is a generic term in Sanskrit literature for people who had territory in the mountains, particularly in the Himalayas and Northeast India and are Sino-Tibetan in origin.
Kirati God Paruhang was taken into Hindu culture only when the Aryan people came into contact with the Kiratis after they arrived in the foothills of the Himalayas. Once the Aryan people adopted Paruhang into Hindu culture he was given the Sanskrit name Shiva.
Here's physical proof.
Now, where do you think Lord Shiva's abode/home is?
It is in Mt. Kailash, Himalayas. Kiratis are the aboriginal of the Himalayas. This is even purely mentioned in Vedic books.
Lord Shiva carries a buffalo horn. (If you are not sure, check his photo)
To the Aryan Khas people, anything that is associated with buffalo is taboo.
But Kiratis eat buffalo meat. And the Kiratis also make use of buffalo horns to make musical instruments.
A buffalo horn is blown at the start of the Kirati festival Sakela.
Hindu Aryan Khas people blow the conch shells. They will never touch or associate anything with buffalo.
Here's the proof from scholars who reveal Lord Shiv's identity.
Dinesh Prasad Saklani said " It can be roughly asserted that Shiva-worship might have begun among the Kiratas in the mountainous regions of the Himalaya in pre-Vedic times, before the advent of Aryans. Shaivism, in some form, was the prevailing religion of the aboriginal Kiratas." - Ancient communities of the Himalayas, 1998
Shiv Kumar Tiwari said " The clear conception of Siva arose in the Upanisadic age. Siva has been, for the first time, explicitly mentioned as the Aryan god in the Svetasvatara Upanisad in the background of the Yoni-Linga relationship. There was never mention of Siva as an Aryan god in Rig Veda, the oldest text of Aryan". From here it can be ascertained that Siva was worshiped by the aboriginal Kirata before the advent of Aryan.” - Tribal roots of Hinduism, 2002
G.P Singh said, “Kiratas along with other tribes non-conforming to Vedic teachings was classified as Mleccha(barbarians) in many early texts, in a sense that they were destroyers of Aryan. Hence the Siva was named as a destroyer in the Hindu Trinity. "
