This is a powerful technique to re-amp line-level synth signals, as one example, to go into FX pedals that are matched for instrument level. While many (probably most) FX pedals will sound "okay" patched in directly, re-amping like this adjusts the signal into the domain the device was built for, and can sound amazing.
Just a quick tip for any synth fans out there. Especially as TC Electronics is pumping out so many great pedals lately that can add options for synth players (even the Juno chorus emulation they did as a pedal... why not).

You’re a man of taste, I see you. Cheers, friend.

Great idea. I suppose the input buffers on many guitar FX will help convert the line level signal, but this removes any maybes. What an awesome feature Arturia!

Do you know how to insert external effects to your softsynths while being able to hear everything in realtime and not have an audio loop? I really want to integrate my external effects but it's driving me crazy. haha

Nice simple video , A lot of people sleep on this fuction of Audiofuse.
Re-Amping is a big deal , a lot of guitar orientated musicians will consider 'Audiofuse' just for that.
It'll be great if you guys could actually show that 'Audiofuse' can do all the things that
a dedicated Reamper can do, in more detail. Lets say like, not just amps, but Reamping guitar pedals etc
and how much of a delay in the inputs there will be, and so on.

yes, definitely as much info as possible about delays/lag/latency of the process would be good

Thanks Dagi L, you're right; that would definitely make a useful video, and we may create this in the future. This video was designed to a quick and clear intro on how to use AudioFuse to re-amp guitars, rather than a detailed analysis of its performance. Subscribe and you might be in luck soon! :)

Can you do this on the minifuse also (reamp I mean)

It seems a great feature! But does the interface includes some amp simulations?
    Have a nice day!

Is it "normal" in the reamping world to not be able to hear what you're reamping within the total mix? Doing it one track at a time without any ability to hear how it sounds in the mix on the fly is cumbersome.

Does anybody know if I can do this with vocals into my 1176?

So is this as good as using a dedicated DI box and Reamp box?

  • @SG-4u
    @SG-4u Před rokem

I'm unable to do this without either horrible feedback, or, having to mute the Reamped lines (3 and 4) in my DAW, which means you can't monitor/hear the reamped track while you are tracking. Frustrating...

My main concern is I want to be able to reamp in stereo and use all my meris and empress pedals in full stereo in inserts or the speaker B reamp send. Can you do this?

Don't you get latency? That signal is going out to an amp through a mic and back, there must be a lag.

Mine is noisy as well. I think it is a feature not defect.
