    First of all thanks for your video. I am watching the "Audiofuse" ones for I have decided to purchase one - Only doubt is about the "getting super Warm " problem - I have heard that with the Rev 2 this problem has been solved . Any comments? Thanks in Advance and keep on - great job - Mauro

      Thanks for your comment! The heating up thing is nothing to worry about in my opinion. It gets a bit warm, but nowhere near oddly warm. It’s a small box with lots of electronics and connectors, so it’s kind of normal. Other Interfaces also get a little warm. Rev 1 must have been an issue, but Rev 2 is absolutely fine. It’s a really great interface!! Let me know if you have any other questions 😊

    Unfortunelly i couldn't find this interface few months ago. The only one i could find was the 8 pre and i bought it, it is really great, but i don't use all the inputs which is sad, i'm planning to sell it to get the rev 2, which for me is so much better.

      Well, the sound is clear and detailed with a very low noise level. You need to work really hard to make the noise floor audible.

      Hey! You are totally free with the routing. You basically have 3 stereo sources which you can independently send to up to 2 pairs of speakers and 2 pairs of headphones.

    Good videos. One question if you can tell, i am finding online this audio interface writing rev2, but none of them showing or writing rev2 in any part of the body of the unit. What are the differences of aurturi audiofuse with audiofuse rev2. Not a lot of info even in arturia website

    • @JannisLeWolff
      @JannisLeWolff  Před 2 lety

      Hey! Thanks for your comment. I just know that they improved for Rev2 that the unit doesn’t get so hot, apart from that I can’t tell you. But if it’s a Rev2 there is some square behind the “Ausiofuse” logo which says Rev2, very small though. Maybe check again if you can see it.

    • @JannisLeWolff
      @JannisLeWolff  Před rokem

      Well, you can have 4 independent inputs. 2 XLR which can be used for Mics but also guitars and synths, and 2 line inputs that work perfectly fine for synths as well. Should work for what you described!

    • @JannisLeWolff
      @JannisLeWolff  Před 2 lety

      Possibly, but I think at that price tag you can get way better mixers for a DJ situation, since here you can only change the input gain of channels 1+2 on the device itself. Everything else you need to do with the software.

    Hello. I would like to know how the arturia rev 2 sound fuse differs from rev1 ? Where can I find a comparison? Unfortunately, there is very little information on the Internet about the differences between version 1 and version 2. Is it worth overpaying for version 2 ?

    • @JannisLeWolff

      @@JannisLeWolff do you still own this device? I found several negative videos online. some people complain that after just a week after purchase, some functions stop working. And both on the first version, and on the second. The buttons did not work or did not always work correctly. Very strong heating was mentioned by the owners of both the first version and the second version of the card. What can you say about the reliability of these cards? Thanks for the reply in advance.

    • @JannisLeWolff
      @JannisLeWolff  Před 2 lety +2

      Hey! Thanks for your comment. There is indeed a sea of interfaces and I tried a few different ones already. I think the most important thing is that you know what you want to do and what you need for that. The most important thing are the amounts of inputs. If you’ll never record more than 2 things/stereo at the same time, the Audient will do a great job. And you can also expand the inputs later if you need more. I got the Arturia because it has 2 additional line inputs, which makes it 4 in total. Added to that it is small and portable while still having midi in and out, one additional output with a function of sending signals to an amplifier, effect inserts and 2 headphone outputs and a usb hub. It also has great sounding headphone amps and generally the sound is amazing. But the sound experience is impossible to get in the beginning because you don’t have other things to compare to from before. While looking for models with those requirements there was actually no other option for me than the Audiofuse. But if you don’t need that stuff a simpler, cheaper interface will do great as well. The Audient ones also have a good reputation and you really can’t go wrong unless you’re looking for some additional features. Hope I could help at least a little.

      just hope I find a mic ti work with it in my untreated downtown apartment... seems hard... not sure what mic to start with? condensors seems more fun for singing in but dynamic mics like the SM7b seems like what everyone tells me to choose!?
      How to think so one is future-proofing ones purchases today for tomorrow's job market!? 🤔

    • @JannisLeWolff
      @JannisLeWolff  Před 2 lety +1

      I think here you should really make use of the possibility of sending something back if you don’t like it. Every voice is different and you need to try for yourself. The better the mic, the more likely it will pick up the negative things from your room, so if the room is an issue a dynamic one could be a good choice. But if you find a corner inside your room where you can get a condenser to sound good, also through treating a corner for example and singing into the right direction, it could be great as well. I would just try a few, including both condenser and dyncmics, and see what works the best. There are some non expensive great condensers such as the Lewitt LCT 440 or the Aston Origin you could try for example.

    Could you compare it's sound quality along UA interfaces?

    • @JannisLeWolff
      @JannisLeWolff  Před 3 lety +1

      Not directly, but their Apollo IF wasn't a choice for me because it doesn't have MIDI, only has 2 inputs (I need up to 4 because of my synth) and only 1 headphone output, and the bigger ones are just way too expensive for me. I had a used Apogee Duet for a while though and realized no downgrade in sound quality at all - almost thought the Arturia sounds a little more direct, but I'm also always a little sceptical of those direct comparisons ;)

    Can you compare it to the Zen Go

    • @JannisLeWolff
      @JannisLeWolff  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey! Never tried the Zen Go. It surely has fewer connections from what I see (only 2 ins, no insert, no usb hub, no ADAT, no MIDI) but quite a huge software/real time effects bundle as it seems, although Arturia gives you good stuff, too (you don't find so much about it online, but they actually make some really nice plugins!). Soundwise of course I can't compare. Seems more like some mixing engineer type of interface, while the Arturia on adds quite a lot of value for performers and producers (while being great for mixing, too).

    • @JannisLeWolff

      Usually around +-5 in/out if I remember correctly (I don't really check those number and go by feeling). I often use the mix knob though for monitoring because it's so direct and practical.
