Note to self, Get Jackzer to fine tune graphics on iracing for me.... Great Video Man you got more tips then a golf trainer
Oh you ain't seen nothing yet 🫡
and the inpact on frame rate? WHy not just leave in on "application-controlled filtering" in the control panel to achieve the same thing
Are you saying that iracing's anisotropic filtering is somehow broken? The 16x filtering in game or in the control panel is exactly the same, when setting it in the nvidia control panel it just forces it on, hence why the default setting is 'application controlled'. Not sure why your iracing is not applying AF but with 16x selected in game you shouldn't be required to force it on in the control panel.
That does sound right, but I noticed differences when testing it on and off, with 16x ingame so, seeing as the major graphic enhancement it offers I figured it pretty important to have it to match iRacings Max setting.
You would notice a difference setting it to off in CP as this would force it off. OP is right, just leaving it on Application Controlled is doing the same thing, just set 16x in game.
You really should put out a video where you make these changes on the Programs tab in Nvidia CP. You’re making these changes globally, which isn’t the best way to go as this will apply to ALL games. Instead select iRacing on the Programs tab & then the settings will ONLY apply to iRacing. This allows you to tune games independently
@TheTheoblad ohhh wow, your right, programs have their own, I personally would use if for all my sims, but I only sim race, will deffo look deeper into this and maybe do an updated video, thanks alot for the time guys!
Mines the same, 16x is only noticeable when both are turned on.
stats at 6:00 - if you want to miss the waffle
😂, I'll be quicker explaining the difference next time , keep puuuushing
I downvoted due to the 6 minutes of bullshit.
Well who ever thought you english was also a bullshitter too 😂😂
25 seconds in I said its at the end of the video I'll show how to do.
50 seconds in I said what the setting is called.
You could've just listened to the video and skipped ahead rather than let me explain the setting..
Ill put BIG subtitles next time might help ya out.
