I'm still laughing 😅, After the mummy say forfeit your soul, it was supposed to had you launched forward to the fire 🔥 pit, but they delayed it and almost ruined the ride, for that LONG pause. Still laughing, but, GREAT 👍 FILMING 🎥
Good thing it got a much needed refurbish and it’s working smoothly now!
I was there last Saturday and it did the same thing but we were stuck for like 4 minutes
I used unlimited express to ride this one…. It was sooo awesome. I went on this ride four times

According to some permits, this ride isn’t opening until September or early October sadly. I’m goi by again in October so I hope my timing is good enough for this ride

So I'm assuming this was before the ride closed for refurbishment?
Yes, but I think this was a little bit before it got closed. I went a month before refurbishment and at that time they didn't even open the Imhotep animatronic to suck out Reggie's soul; they just projected a light onto the wall (I think it was an eye or something) in place of the coffin. It was unfortunate, I really loved that part. Hope they improve on it.

Aint it weird how they were stuck in the fire room for a minute but you could hear the car behind them launch and go on the first coaster section when they were stuck? I wonder why they do thst!
I rode ROTM at Universal Studios Florida with my sister, her boyfriend, and my father and we all sat in the front row of the train. We rode it on June 21, 2021 around 8:30am. This is the problem when you have too many people riding this attraction or any other attraction. It ruins the overall experience and thus the sync/rhythm of the ride.

The delay for sure wasn’t caused by capacity. It’s either caused by system error, people taking too long to get on the ride, etc.. but Capacity would just back the line up more. You would never drop show quality for the sake of capacity. Also, the ride is programmed and optimized for 2000 people an hour. It’s getting backed up, not being stalled for capacityx
Fun fact: The animatronic at the start had to be made less human like because guests were mistaking it for an actor
