Listening to them talk about abuse was rough. The lady in the glasses was talking about her ex hitting her like she was in an abusive relationship. And she was..... SHE was the abuser! Financially dependent on a man, and at the same time being physically violent towards him. Amazing! Isn't there an old adage about biting the hand that feeds you? But beyond that, let's talk about the fact that they thought it was ok to strike a man during an argument.... Both women described themselves as hitting their men first. And multiple times at THAT. Yet maintaining the trope that society caters to blaq men over women.... We gone have to do better
Just discovered this podcast, and I have subscribed, but the dark skinned woman's story about fighting with her ex, was, "No bueno." (to the 10th power) A LOT of women (like the one on this show), INTENTIONALLY tell raggedy, disorganized, out of order stories to support whatever narrative they want (this allows them to go back into the story, to backfill whatever narrative they want to establish). She incriminated herself by saying, 'he came home late and I punched him.' Then, when you challenged her about the fact that SHE initiated, escalated, and assaulted the dude. Then, all of a sudden, 'oh, he came in the house and started pouring gasoline............woo, woo." If her story was true/legit/on the level (Which it obviously was NOT!), why tf would you leave a HUGE detail like that out of your initial version. Males are dumb and let their private parts control them, but any female telling you (any dude) a story like that, is a major RED FLAG! And, if you STILL elect to mess with her, you deserve whatever you get. I am HELLA' wary of a person who cannot admit to being wrong or who is always the, "poor, little innocent victim" in all (or a majority of the stories they tell). There is a REASON why it is relatively rare for a woman to put hands on another woman (and, I bet it's close to "NEVER" that a woman will put hands on another woman who outweighs her by more than 10lbs. Women KNOW, that a larger woman is extremely likely to beat the brakes off her.................and she can't run to 5-0 with that, "I'm just an innocent little girl" bullshit that most people buy into, especially in the last 20 years or so. Great interview with RL. Salute to him for surviving (and thriving), despite everything he has been through.
