Honestly, I believe Reach has the most descriptive secret rooms especially the one on New Alexandria. The soundtracks Never Surrender and Siege of Madrigal play and it's hilarious.
Also you can drive a PELICAN or a PHANTOM by going between towers just before the end of this level. Bungie did a great gift to us players, you see dedicated people over there
The REX sword has always been one of my favorite Halo Easter Eggs. Me and my friends used to call it "Rexcalibur", and would always race to see who got it first.
Ive never seen anyone mention the secret room on halo 3’as map longshore. You can turret glitch through the icy windows and find a cool little room with some graffiti on the wall that says “suck it, fronk!”
I've been replaying Reach recently. Just got off from 3 hours. I've been trying to beat it on Heroic, I'm not an amazing Gamer or anything but I love the challenge. Best level so far was New Alexandria. Only 3 deaths. This also let me figure out a good way to make Extra credits on Campaign, turning on Scoring will make your extra credits, even if you are alone.
Yeah it sucks that you can only get out by reverting to the last checkpoint but it's pretty cool. I also like the bridge end of Two Betrayals where you can go to the part at the beginning of AotCR since that room is glitched in a really cool way.
I would hide in the swamps of 343 guilty spark. No viability, tons of audio background and I can hind in a tree if it was in anniversary graphics. Take you a while to find me
A nice one to check out: The ghost/scorpion glitch on Delta Halo in Halo 2. You can free roam seemingly endless green pastures and fields outside of the map. It’s located to the right of the map, right when after the reinforcements and weapons are dropped to you(the 2nd time).
I miss the OG Reach easter eggs. Especially those buttons, including the one that allows you to fly a Pelican or Phantom around. That isn't possible on MCC Reach now. There's also a very tedious task but possible on "The Package" where you can get a Ghost into the base and take it with you all the way to the elevator. You just need to smash off the sides of the Ghost carefully and do some twisty shenanigans to get it to really work out for you.
I remember spending hours reading theories about the secret sand trap room and some kind of hidden meaning behind it and sand trap on bungie forums lol
I remember breaking out of the map on Pitfall in Halo 4, and trying to build a map out by the Pelicans, but that didn't work very well, was still a nice place to explore. Also props to the people who have broken out of Multiplayer maps in Halo 5 forge and built some amazing maps, of note, someone built a Husky Raid map, whilst someone else built the Order 66 map on Eden, after breaking outside the map boundries
Who remembers getting under the ramp in halo 3 the pit. One of my favorites because its a multiplayer map hiding place you could get to without any forge tricks or help from any one else. Also the hiding spots for the halo 3 multiplayer skulls.

In the Halo 3 map Ghost Town getting behind the fence gate in the central building AND inside the ruined brick room in the corner of the map at the top, made for some fun zombie games! Really dark in those.
The hidden weapon cache behind the weapon drop pods right before you fight the honor guards on Regret (I think) is on that you didn't mention (maybe because it's not really a room) is my favorite.

We spent countless hours not only tryin he to break out of campaign maps, but the multiplayer maps too. The two coolest ones would have to be sword canceling on Zanzibar and then on ascension if you hit the super jump wrong it’ll do one of three things: kill you, nothing, or it’ll launch you past the banshee and out of the map. Which was a great place to hide. Lol.
I can't believe you didn't show the hidden room on the arc that can only be accessed in theater mode. People should check that out cause it's crazy how anyone found it.
Cool video! This concept of exploration and fun glitches with Halo 2 is the main point of my channel. I love this stuff and have been to countless hidden areas and rooms. My personal favorite that I've been in is the Cairo Station "cutscene room", the airlock that Master Chief leaves the station with the covenant bomb at the end of the mission, which is loaded and accessible during normal gameplay. Thanks for inspiring people and sharing how cool this stuff is. 👍
With the new skull being added in Halo 3 that will give you the ability to fly in campaign, it will open a whole new world of opportunities to find cool details/things. And you’ll be able to more easily get to certain Easter eggs. I honestly hope they have that’s skull in all the halos (but disabling the achievements you get from finding Easter eggs)
I remember playing a halo game at a friends house where I did something inside a building and it teleported me to like a beach where a bunch of enemies were fighting. Maybe it never happened or was another game but in my mind it was a halo game. One of the older ones.
In sandbox there is a part of the ground (halo 3) that if you break it, there is a whole new map you can build on. It directly in the middle of the map, check it out
Delta Halo in Halo 2, after to bring the bridge down, you can scale the left cliff side with a ghost or wraith and you can go around the whole level and eventually get to the lake and just drive around under water.
when i did that halo 3 mission i accidentally went in to the pulse generator room and i thought to myself: ''Huh they used the generators from halo ce to pass by? thats cool'' before realizing there was no way to proceed further.
There is a somewhat secret room on the library. I found it on accident trying to get away from combat on co-op legendary and just walked through a wall that had a few dead marines, a health pack and a rocket launcher
I will never forget playing the orginal halo 2 and getting outside of Cairo station and exploring it all without worry of kill timers and quarantine zone was fun too, but must be played on the orginal game if i remember correctly and not the MCC
There's a spot in the halo 2 level delta halo where you can use a ghost to go up the bushy cliff in the third area and actually go right over to where you kill the prophet in the next level, no enemies spawn in because of the lack of loading points so it's just a big empty area that you can explore. You can also go into the giant lake but you'll almost always die. I've spent hours exploring it but it gets boring since if you die you have to go back to last checkpoint which is when you kill the last enemy in that 3rd area
For H3 cold storage, you can glitch TPs through some of the glass, and a couple won't insta kill. In H3 foundry, there is the whole rafter room above (tp), and the under stairs platforms can get turreted.
You should do a video on multiplayer secret rooms for Halo. I've actually found 3 multiplayer secret rooms on Halo 4 I'm pretty sure nobody knows about: On Forge island EACH of the islands are hollow, if you take a teleporter you can go inside the small, medium, and large islands including any rocks surronding the islands in the water, plus you can actually build maps in them, how cool is that!
My hiding place would be with the mystery marine that is hanging out in the woods in the MCC but just all by himself in the original game. Probably because that was the first place I had seen back in the day. And at least hanging out with the marine I would have company while hiding.
On the rig in halo five has anyone gone in theatre and flew out of the map and flew all the way to the “vehicle” across the map that gets destroyed by a creature?
in flood gate just before you enter the covenant crash site if you do a series of jumps on the wreckage you can actually leave the map. similiar to the mission the ark you can leave the map just after destroying the scarab i remember it took a ghost and a scorpion but it's been a while but anyway you can get out and just take a look at the huge forerunner building and who knows maybe there's something hidden there, all i can say is that for both these places they can be done solo and although i'm not sure if there's anything there because i was just messing around maybe someone could find something there or even get to another place through getting to that position.
He should've added the foundry room behind the fenced off area. You'd do the same tactic with the sentry there's even a Easter egg in there I'm pretty sure
There was a way to get outside of the multiplayer map orbital in halo 3, something about spawning a teleporter through a window. I should have the custom map on my old 360 but ive never seen it mentioned in any videos
I remember playing Halo 2, zombies. In the Foundation map, where the scarab broken in. You have only 1 chance to use an item there to get up to the top right of it. You were technically in the room, just well hidden. I saw my entire team being killed, and I did nothing. They took forever to find me.
So not a secret room but a game break, on Halo Reach I found that on the map Forge World you can easily get a teleporter outside the map which is fun to work with in its own right. What's more interesting however is that I found that if you put one of these outside the map (specifically on the cliff near the hanger) and put a crap ton of reversed one way screens angled like a cone under the teleporter than go through a separate teleporter in a Revanant you'll get launched at mach 2000 upwards and that if you look down you'll notice that the play area is like 5% of what's actually loaded in and that the map is ridiculously big. As a kid I legitimately thought that if we could glitch the death counter that we'd hit the other side of the halo ring.
Actually, in Cold Storage you can in fact get outside the glass! Just in one very specific spot and it's kinda tricky to do. Basically in the flood infested area behind the glass, if you put your turret up against the glass on the far left side and enter via orb mode, if you quickly fly back and slightly down and to the right (it's now your right because you're facing the opposite direction when you glitch into the glass) and quickly turn back into human form, there's a small box you can safely stand in and get an awesome view of the flood room above. Some people overlook the teleported It's the best way to break invisible walls and clip through them All you need is a phased teleported and jam it through a wall U now clipped through it if you use another teleported But to break invisible walls You have to place a teleported on one far corner of a map and make it phased And then you need to make a new one on the other corner Turn it normal physics An hold it push it against the wall and go through it You might glich throu it but there's a chance you can't
Missed one of the secret rooms in either ce or 2. Cant remember which one. But theres a point where your exploring through some ruins (its halo 2 just remembered) you can hop on a rock, then grenade jump up on to a ledge and get an energy sword and a shotgun I believe
1:23 I did head to the secret corridor but once I get to the room where the marines are, the door that leads to the secret corridor is locked even If I get there quickly is still locked
In halo reach forge world you could use the turret glitch to get on the inside of the mountain. If anyone wants to try it, I always did it in one of the synthetic caves that goes through it.
In reach you don’t actually have to be on legendary to gain access to that secret room after defending Halsey’s lab. Just wanna throw that out there. Legendary is NOT required. There’s a switch you can find that will teleport you into the room

The scarab gun on halo 2 was an awesome secret. Trying to get the banshee through the tunnel was a pain.

In halo reach forge world you could use the turret glitch to get on the inside of the mountain. If anyone wants to try it, I always did it in one of the synthetic caves that goes through it.
In reach you don’t actually have to be on legendary to gain access to that secret room after defending Halsey’s lab. Just wanna throw that out there. Legendary is NOT required. There’s a switch you can find that will teleport you into the room
