    I just started trackdays and my instructor suggested that I get one of these. As an experienced (aka old 🙂) rider used to more powerful road bikes, I wasn't sure that I would enjoy this.
    Long story short, I picked up a low mileage immaculate example yesterday and rode it home. The ride should have taken 15 minutes. Two hours later, I'm back home having taken an extended ride back. What a great bike. Love it.
    I will make a few adjustments for the track but I will keep it road legal to hoon around on.
    Thanks for the review.

    I just got one. I'm a first time rider as well, I can't compare it to anything else. I'm 6'0 around 170 lbs and it's honestly pretty comfortable. The slip clutch is extremely forgiving. I am so happy I went with this bike

    Great review. I really enjoyed the pace of this vid. I find a lot of motor vlog vids to be a little braggy. But you really focused on the bike and I appreciate that. I’m a beginner. Only been riding for about a month at a local driving school. Figured it would be cool to learn with instructors so that I pick up good habits from the start. This ninja seems super approachable and looks good too. Defs getting it! In my country I have the option to go for the all black colour. Think I’ll go for that. Thanks again bro

    I purchased this bike after watching your review last year (2020). I’ve loved every minute of it as a new rider however I’ve outgrown it now. I would also agree that for a new rider this bike is perfect. My dilemma now is whether to go for the ZX6R or the R1 after watching your reviews on both. I love your reviews, very informative and accurate.

    Hi Mark, firstly a great review.. After owning the first ninja250 which I enjoyed but didn't like the gearbox. Then a few years later after owning a Suzuki gsxr600 k8 ( sadly stolen ) I bought the ninja 300 which I have had for the past 6 years and covered more mileage than the space station, long trips, trackdays its done everything. But now and after seeing the latest 400 ninja incarnation. Your review has made my mind up.. I was tempted by the new Yamaha R3.. But no, a Ninja 400 KRT edtn is the one for me.. These little bikes are so much fun to ride, and trust me, will keep up with larger cc bikes in the twisties, and on track 80)

    • @JorgeParma
      @JorgeParma Před 3 lety

      I totally agree with you. In my opinion it all depends on the weight of the rider. I am very light, 58 kg and and i ride a z250 sl. It’s 150 kg and it really flies on the twistees of the mountains of Italy. I will never change it with a bigger heavier bike like everybody wants here in Italy. But I understand that if I was bigger maybe I would choose the 400...

      @@markpulling12 Yes, I saw your review on your bike as well, nice machine. I love sport bikes but I have to be happy with my Z900 (which is also a wonderful machine by the way, you had a go as well) Arthritis in the right knee doesn't agree having him in a rather extreme bent position as you are on a sports bike compared to my Z900. I complain not though, because sport bikes wont lose me in hurry when riding in real world condition/traffic ;)

    I loved my small Kawasaki's, I had a 1977 kh250, an old stock 77 kh400 and a brand new very old stock1976 kh 500 in about 1980, for about the same price as a 125, the 500 was heavy.
    I don't really think that there would be much of a performance difference, apart for the lovely sound of the kh 400.
    I have been thinking about getting another bike and was thinking that the ninja 400 /z400 was about the right size. Or maybe a smaller battery zero s secondhand, as I'm not sure they are imported to Australia now

Looks like a much better version of the Ninja 300 I started on back in my younger days. I think its all the power I'd need now. • @markpulling12
      @markpulling12  Před 3 lety

      How do I get an A2 licence?
      The direct access route
      If you are aged 19 or over, you will need to pass the theory test and two-module practical test outlined below - providing you have an in date CBT.
      This test must be taken on a minimum of a 395cc motorcycle with a power output of between 20 kW (27bhp) and 35 kW (47bhp).
      The progressive route
      If you have held a full A1 licence for at least two years then you can upgrade to an A2 licence by passing the two-part practical test, without taking your theory again. If you are 19 and have held a full A1 licence for less than two years, you will have to take your practical test again.

    Can’t understand why reviews always call the Ninja 400 a starter/beginners bike. Do you need the extra speed and power of a 650cc on U.K. roads. This bike is more fun on the country twisty roads. Think power to weight ratio 🥷🥷🥷
    My big complaint is it has a naff seat that pushes you into the tank on a long ride. Not a problem for girls 👧
