upgraded from beyerdynamic DX 160 today to the IE 300. i have the fidelio X2 too. after I achieved a good seal with comply foams (very important, could take time to find a good seal) IE 300 beats both the beyers and X2 by a mile it actually outclasses the full sized X2 in so many ways. The IE 300 is a bigger upgrade than I was anticipating, an eye opener. i have owned Audio Technica M50, fidelio X2, beyerdynamic DT 1350, beyerdynamic T50p, klipsch X10, and a few more, the IE300 outclasses all of them by a long shot

Sennheiser have been getting better at IEMs, no doubt those who asses IEMs on the number of drivers will be disappointed but there's something to be said for a good full range driver. Thanks for the honesty in advising an Apple dongle is just fine for these and that they don't need a n amplifier.

I bought The KZ ZS10 it was surprisingly close-amazingly close! sounding to my once costing $1,000.00 Sennheiser IE 800. That I purchased from Amazon for $788.00 I bought the KZ ZS10 Pro for my Son, brother and best friend, to help give them an idea! of what an expensive flagship model earphone sounds like! The KZ ZS10 Pros are incredible sounding for their low price of $50.00. I have since bought another IE800 on EBay for $212.00 The IE900 will only be about 10 to 15% better than my IE800. Surely the Solaris outclass these anyway? They are more expensive than the ie900’s after all - I know not all value comes from the cost, but CA tend to be the pinnacle of you paying for what you get - from what I’ve heard all CA Ken’s are fantastic! Only reason I’m leaning more towards the ie900’s myself is long term comfort. I sometimes use my Shure’s for 4-5 hours at a time so the majority of CA stuff just wouldn’t work for the intended long term use
