In this video Burkland Gardens Nursery Manager Gil McNeal shares his thoughts on root control grow bags. You can grow your dwarf conifers in grow bags to help with moving and growing compact roots. Gil shows us how to remove trees from your grow bags and repot. We hope you enjoy this tour through our conifer garden and nursery!

Thanks Gil. Really enjoying the weekly videos
One thing in my gardening which has really helped me is knowing that I am allowed to cut roots. I had not really known that before. Thanks for showing how far you can go with these operations.
Thanks so much for watching and happy gardening.
More videos please!!! Love seeing yalls videos!😊
More to come!
Great video, I use the bags for trees in pots. As the pots break in our winter's if soil is left in, they need a liner, bag or plastic pot.
Please let me know what you have that would like to live in my garden in northcentral Indiana. Stay well and remain positive. Thanks again.
Hi Steve, thanks for sharing how you use grow bags. I think that it is a great way to grow trees and other plants in containers. I am planning to start featuring more conifers that I have available for shipping in my videos. Take care, Gil
