Lots of us somewhat older Metalheads do listen to lots of types of good music. And you can't be a music aficionado without having listened to at least Pavarotti, Carreras and Placido Domingo, and Montserrat Caballé, Maria Callas or at least Sarah Brightman.
lots of metalheads play computergames too and love to listen to the original soundtracks of them too - and surprse, they are classic music ;) ...and to be honest: some operas could be made to a metal concert without any problems
@@angeldogx You can't legitimately claim to have good taste in music if you dismiss any genre. Good music comes in many forms. Metal happens to be closest to my heart, but that doesn't keep me away from classical, hip hop or techno and anything in between.

It helps that she is fully fluent in Italian, if I understand correctly. There are many opera singers who know how to say the words and might have good diction and so know how to say/sing them correctly, but don't fully understand what the emotions of the lyrics they are singing. But by really knowing the Italian language, Elizabeth knows what the meaning of the lyrics are and can reflect the emotions of the lyrics in her voice and body.

I love attending classical performances. Why? Here she makes the air vibrate with her vocal cords and you as a listener feel the air vibrating with the pure voice. If someone sings into a microphone, the voice moves a membrane, this is translated into electric impulses which are sent through electronic circits which add effects and send them to amplyfiers from where they finally reach speakers which set the air in motion for you to hear. If you ever felt a big concert hall vibrating from a trained unamplified voice you never forget that experience.
Only now, in my mid 60s, have I learned something that's been obvious all my life. Before she launches into explosive vibrato she takes a ginormous breath but so subtly it could escape you unless you look for it. I had no idea how technical even breathing is.

I can believe it when A.K. mentions her mother's voice as being very similar to your own LOVELY one. Personally, I have never been a fan of opera. However, I can now hear how such strong emotions mixed with the superlative trained vocals are a mix to be very well investigated.
Having watched her reaction/analysis videos in which she is so happy most of the time it is kind of weird yet very cute to watch her simulating such "agony" in her performances here. Bravissima Elizabeth!
Once she releases her agony through opera on stage, her charismatic reaction analysts can last a few months. After the charisma is depleted, she goes back to the stage to release agony to gain charisma back. 😄😄
Amazing...your passion for the music is thick and palpable...like we can feel your sense of it...stance...expression...facial... I am not a super-fan of Opera but you put it in there and now I know how deeply you feel the music... BTW...when chicks sweat it is really hot... I want to hear her sing Ava Maria while playing hitman
This is the best comment ever. Period. 😂
YES!
The internet would implode.
Brilliant👍
I'm also here after stumbling across her reaction and critique videos.
I am not big on opera singing, but do respect the extreme voice control needed.
Now I appreciate her stuff more, as at least one other person has stated.
Daaaaamn girl. You have skills!!! Now I see why you didn't know all the metal, you were otherwise occupied. Definitely not time wasted.
She is awesome!!!
What a talented woman! I love the theater she brings to this with her expression...that would be hard while singing such challenging pieces. Simply amazing! I hope my husband and I can see her perform some day.
I too am here bec of the Charismatic Voice...wow! accomplished & beautiful talented singer. It is no wonder you can hear her passion in her reaction vids.

You show such great emotion when you sing, it really adds to your performance I love it
Bellissima, Elizabeth!
Amazing...your passion for the music is thick and palpable...like we can feel your sense of it...stance...expression...facial...
I am not a super-fan of Opera but you put it in there and now I know how deeply you feel the music...
BTW...when chicks sweat it is really hot...
I am German (built for the cold) and live in Florida...I sweat ALOT...
Natural...not a bad thing...
Anyway...BRAVO...BRAVO...BRAVO...
