What is the optimum number of paragraphs / approximate word count for question 4?
probably 5-8
Are all English language paper 1’s going to be set out in like this? i.e. is question 4 always about language and structure and Q5 on ideas and perspectives?
yes the exams next wednesday.
@@orzwn942 good luck
@@fumingqueen1305 you too
Can you tell me which text had been tested in the january paper for 2024?
there was no january session this year
The last papers were H is for Hawk and Game of Polo
Can you tell me whether the IGCSE Or GCSE English is easier? I know that the iGCSE requires no coursework, but regarding the exam content itself, is it easier to get a higher grade with iGCSE?
IGCSE is generally easier than GCSE as GCSE is used in england only meanhwile everywhere else its IGCSE
@@narutoedits4411 thanks, I was thinking the same thing. No wonder so many private schools do iGCSEs instead of GCSEs to get higher grades more easily, whereas state schools don't get a choice, don't think it's fair
my school does igcses and they decided to only do paper 1s for lang and lit so we did have coursework but its honestly not too bad
@@Sophia-mu5cp interesting! Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the GCSEs allows any coursework at all so the grade depends entirely on the exam. This again would show how it's easier to get a higher grade doing an iGCSE. If anyone had the choice to sit high pressured exams for their entire grade or split their mark between exams and coursework I think most people would choose the latter i.e. iGCSE
@@NA-pj1to actually its the opposite I think you'll find. Private schools at first changed from doing GCSE because they were too easy and not challenging for their pupils, however recently GCSE's have been altered so they are in fact harder. Pretty much all private schools will start doing GCSE's instead of IGCSE's in the future.
Great explanation 👌🏼🥇
Glad it was helpful!
Exam in 30 mins cheers
my exam is in 3 hours, woohoo 😥😥
Good luck!
my exam is in like 5 hours lol
me too gang💀
@@colombia344 where u from
It’s 57.5 mins not 67.5, theses English teacher neglect the maths as the complete ambiguity of the discussion of the neglecting of studies
it is 67.5, 67.5 x 2 is 135 which is 2hr 15mins which is the length of the exam
Hassan that was kinda embarrassing
THANK YOU!!!!
