Were you for real when you said if you go beyond maybe 200 words it's okk????
The word limit in my syllabus used to be 200 so going over wasn't that much of an issue, but in the new syllabus the word limit is significantly reduced, so just make sure you don't go a lot over your new word limit. No issue with a couple words over.

@user-lr8hs9ke1c make sure you rest well for your exam and take care of your well being, and relax before the exam and go to the hall early, and keep ur eye on the clock throughtout the exam so you manage time for every question! You can do it!

of course. as long as it is used properly and not forced.
Is it not compulsory to pick Add maths(it covers your A level basics1/3) in O level ?
Btw where are you from ?
It is not compulsory at all, and it counts as a seperate subject to maths 0580 which is this maths. Meaning you could take both of them and it would count as 2 subjects, each with their own results, or you could take 1 of them only.
The advantage as you said is that it covers AL basics, so it becomes easier for you later on, but it's not conpulsory and is completely your choice

If you are willing to put in the time and effort to practice speaking, and you get really good because of constant practice, it will definitely help raise your grade to an A* because not all students excel at speaking or take it lightly..
Since if u take speaking endorsement you will only take 2 papers reading and writing, you'll have tough competition between everyone.. but if you take speaking too, and you get so good at speaking, your chances of getting an A* will be easier. However you MUST put in as much effort in speaking, and not take it lightly

As she said, check the marks. If the mark is 1, use three words max and one point, nothing extra. If 2-3 marks, they'll usually tell you to write "two points/four points" etc.

in the first exercise, do we start our answer with capital letter and end with a full stop? and in the four marker, do we write it in the same pattern/format as the above one mark questions or we write n some other way?
and how to write answers in note making? like should they start with capital or not and should they end with full stop or not?
and in the email exercise, can we start a sentence with ‘But’ or ‘And’? for example: “snusuhsu. But this is not…….” or “shjsjsnus. And the feeling that you……” . and one last thing, can i use a nickname while ending the email or i’m supposed to write my actual name?

So I have to make sure I get 40/40 for listening? Because every time after I do papers and I check papers the thresholds for listening are vv high
And also Writing I have make sure I get 70+?
If you want to get an A*, then definitely focus a lot on getting 39s and 40s in listening especially.
You dont want to lose marks there since english thresholds are always high
For writing, just make sure you're getting the highest marks you can, but as long as you dont lose a lot in listening and speaking, then u can be a little bit lenient in the amount of marks you can lose in writing

BUT FROM WHERE CAN I GET TOPICAL QUESTIONS
For english, i never had a source of topical questions. Its easy to skim thru papers to get tbe exercises you want
For example if u want to solve for summary, every paper has a summary, so just go to different papers and there will always be a summary question
