I think icing takes a little bit longer to build up before actually taking down a plane. The control surfaces probably weren't completely iced up on the A320. I'm not sure tho, I obviously am not an A320 pilot and have never experienced icing on any type of aircraft.
I do feel that this sim's physics are in pretty much every way better than X-Plane from what I know tho
i mean I dont think swiss ever flew an A320 into a snow storm without deicing so he cant really tell that much about the realism there
