Whilst I appreciate the enthusiasm and just wanting to get the job done, I have learnt the hard way you should always delay and get the right tools for the job. Your health is worth more than saving a few quid.
Awesome project! To anyone reading this who plans to weld, it’s best to fully cover your skin to shield it from the UV created while welding. It is far stronger than the sunlight.
bricks crumble always use wood blocks my neighbor was killed when a cinderblock failed and the car crushed him
Just pull off the rear bumper and apron and then disconnect the motor from the transmission while having the engine supported on the Jack and pull out. That is how I did my motor replacements. This way was way too complicated but much fun to watch.
Watching how that jack was leaning as you were propping up the other side made me think-Now I see why women live longer than men.... 🤣🤣🤣
He has so many crumbs on his lap when he goes for a drive to pick up the kit from joshs workshop
Looking good Louis nice to see your dad again and see Raya's grandfather. Can't wait to see it finished. 🚙🛣💙XXX
Cool video! Also happy nothing went wrong with removing the engine, it had me worried with those jacks and bricks that you were pushing your luck a bit. I do not want anybody to get hurt.
Glad you guys are putting more content again. This is a carpentry adage but it fits here, "measure twice and cut once." Please be careful you have a wife and child to be around for my friend. I love how you are not afraid to just jump in and do something without fully knowing what you're doing. It is not an insult at all you can't know everything about everything you know. Just try to be safe my friend we need you around. Can't wait to see when you were driving this thing down the highway fully Electric
I can’t believe I’m seeing you again after more than a decade I remember seeing your food for Louis videos, the blended rats the roadsidekill videos 😂😂
I am a welder almost done with school, and I just started to learn how to TIG weld! Good job on your first bead, great timing with your filler metal! It's difficult learning the foot peddle. I loved the van series, definitely watching all of the bug!
Let's go! I'm pumped for this series 🤙
Yay! New content from Louis
Well done lads taking out that engine.👍🏾😃😉
So far so good with the new Lithium battery box well done mate you have very cool video🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼💫💫💫👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I appreciate that som people have nostalgia about the old powertrain.
I used to have a yellow jeans Beetle, I loved it. Good luck x
I was so happy to see you use a regular powered saw this time, instead of that "Final Destination Death Wheel" saw you constructed in the VW Bus conversions. You have a baby to look after now! 😁
Great episode as usual! Word of warning on the jacking points, they are pretty much only for the original style jack. If you have a trolley jack the best place I’ve found is under the torsion tube cover. I saw someone jack up the jacking point and it went through the floor!
Interesting video again, love these build series! Also this is a lot less sketchy than the previous build, although I'm still slightly scared about those brick stacks :D
