Rainy Day Boxing brings you an in depth beginner tutorial on the legendary Peek A Boo boxing style, created by Cus D'Amato and made famous by Iron Mike Tyson. Rainy Day Boxing Patreon / rainydayboxing
Had to reupload this for all you peekaboo fanatics out there. I also had to re-edit it after it was taken down due to copyright issues with some of the footage I used. @@theworkethic Tyson won the championship at 20, United the belts and cleaned out the division all while holyfeild and Lennox Lewis were in little league. Tyson destroyed fighters who had never been beaten and he was the highest paid boxer of all time because he was amazing to watch and destroyed a lot of good fighters. Even after being on drugs and rusting in prison he still came back beating most of the same guys Lennox Lewis was fighting.
“I tell them as soon as they start, if they do their job as well as I do mine, the result is a foregone conclusion”. Love this quote by Cus. Confidence is the ultimate key behind all his teachings. Thanks for another amazing video my brother! 💪
His jab is a work of art. I'm constantly impressed by the small details in the style and the things he perfected with Cus. That rapid fire jab, even though Mike had extremely short reach compared to his HW opponents was effective and a thing of beauty.
It's safe to say that Mike Tyson could've very easily been the first undefeated undisputed heavy weight champion. But after his trainer and father figure passed away Don king and many greedy people went after him.
@@giovelazquez8872you don't known what you talk about. Technique is planted in this men's dna. Never ever he would forget his technique, boxing is the only thing he has known in his life.

Discipline in the ring wins fight. If you think Tyson made it as far as he did without controlling his emotions you’re crazy.
Nobody will ever be like mike but I’d love to get his knowledge in not just his boxing but how to stay humble and kind. He’s an inspiration to me and how he became such a good man.
Cus was like those old kung fu masters who trained his students with his style to defeat all the other masters and their styles to reign as the most dominant style.
That leverage Mike Tyson was referring to was insane, he didn’t need to fully extend his arm to deliver maximum punishment, he delivered deadly punches with elbow still bent.
Best style for short heavyweights; punches thrown at all angles with shifting footwork. Tyson had awesome punching power and ring cardio fitness. A bigger skilled puncher boxer who backed him up he always struggled with.
He never struggled with anyone till after the prison break bro. There were a cpl that went the distance but I think mike was punishing them vs knocking them out.
