I haven't read the entire book yet. But it's very informative and detailed. It's also interesting how Arthur Koestler was found dead in 1983 under mysterious circumstances.
His death caused much speculation. Some tied his death to the publication of this book 🙂
It likely had something to do with it. The subject of the book could imply many things political and spiritual.
Circumstances were not mysterious at all. He and his wife were found st@bb3d and with blunt force trauma to their heads. A hit. No one was arrested. No investigation. That told me EVERYTHING I needed to know. Also look up Prof Shlomo Sands. Everyone knows that the Bible is about black Africans and their diaspora. Period.
Try science. DNA shows no connection to the Khazars. DNA shows Middle Eastern origins. SCIENCE.

The first edition was 255 pages. Later reprints in smaller paperbacks were 318 pages to make up for the smaller pages, which meant less space for text.

I recommend the Jews of Khazaria by Kevin Brook over this. This book contains many inaccuracies, no genetic information (as such technology was not available yet), and the author Arthur Koestler is not a historian. Kevin Brook on the other hand is a historian and population geneticist. Autosomal analysis has revealed a small amount Turkic ancestry in European Jews (~2%), evidently far from the 80% figure Koestler proposes.
