ABOUT SATURN AS A 'GRAHA' ('SHANI DEVA')
Astronomically, Saturn is the planet that is almost at the end of the solar system. Yes there are other planets that come beyond it but they're much further away in proportion to the inner planets one the other side of the asteroid belt and then the gas super giants that are Jupiter and Saturn.
In the solar system, Saturn actually plays a huge rule in protecting the Earth from vagrant asteroids that can smash into it and end all life. Saturn's gravitation is in many ways a protective shield for the inner solar system.
In 'Vedic' astrology, Saturn or 'Shani' is the planet of hard work, struggle, stamina, resilience, business and discipline.
Saturn can be a very restrictive planet as it teaches through difficulties and often gives the native many problems in the area of life represented by the house that Saturn sits in. This is why most people hope to have Saturn in a good placement and giving good results otherwise they fear bad things might happen to them. At the very least, with a tough Saturn placement, people expect a tough life.
See 'Shani' is the 'deva' of justice and order. That is why it is famously said "Saturn delays but never denies."
SATURN IN THIRD HOUSE OF BIRTH CHART
When Saturn is placed in the third house, it is in the place of a friend since third house corresponds to the natural sign of 'Gemini', which is ruled by Mercury who is friends with Saturn.
However, since the third house is a very important house in terms of all practical matters of movement, communication, skills, courage, expression, learning, commerce etc. and Saturn is well slow, steady and 'cynical' in nature unlike Mercury who is fast and 'collaborative', this placement becomes tough to channel in the native's interactions with the world.
The planet in the third house is usually quite helpful to the individual's interactions with others and most of life in fact provided the native is prepared as well to work with the energy of the planets.
What do I mean by that?
I mean that if you have let's say the North node 'Rahu' in the 3rd, then it naturally lends a drive and motivation to take action and develop the significatioms of the 3rd house.
Similarly let's say you have Sun in 3rd house, it makes you quite confident and courageous wrt your expression and interactions with others amd the application of your skills.
Similarly, Saturn placed in the third is lending a lot of his qualities to the individual's 'interactions' with others while also challenging him with Saturn's own weaknesses such as slowness, struggle, lack and frustration.
However this doesn't mean that it is necessarily harmful or bad. In fact, a lot of famous and highly successful, rich people in the world have Saturn in the third house. If you study them however, or if you study their lives.. you will find a lot of Saturnian patterns of 'lack', conflict or struggle in some way, when it comes to speaking their truth in the world.

I have Saturn in 3h mula Sagittarius 🏹. In sidereal. It is squaring my 12h Virgo sun at 0° uttara phalguni. And conjunct Uranus . It is a very hard placement. I tried to end my life before . Lots of suffering and loss in my life . I'm the most responsible over all my siblings . My mother is an alcoholic and addict . I went through a lot from a young age . @@sachinpatil5490 my short term travels have been hindering my progression in both physical health and career. I've got coaches for communication and coaches on businesses but as the video states there will be missing pieces to the puzzle of the 3rd house. My siblings were delayed as I was an only child until 19 , basically anything that the 3rd house signifies has been delayed. I am currently 32 and have not had the courage to go into business until now. Thank you for your input. Many blessings on your journey
@@sachinpatil5490 all 3rd house significators have been delayed. Adhd / Autism impacted my learning and communication in youth , siblings were not born until I was 20. Did not get drivers license until after highschool. Most vehicles I've owned have become total losses. Courage in aspects of life that I lacked knowledge was absent.
However I have very strong desires that will keep me up at night.
With age I've grown to find mentors that help with business and communication.
And I am beginning to be comfortable when these aspects of life have challenges. When things go too smoothly I get worried.
I have found success when I remain persistent in my desires/goals even when things go wrong.
Ferociously persistent when the circumstance doesn't line up to the goal has been the only way I've ever encountered success with anything in life.
