For centuries the nodes of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' have baffled Vedic astrologers in terms of the results they give in their 'mahadasha' and 'antardasha'.
In fact, when it comes to analyzing their influence in a person's life from the perspective of transits, it becomes even more tricky as there doesn't really seem to be a consensus on how to look at and understand at their impact.
I have spent a lot of years reading, writing and researching on the topic of the 'nodes' and have been lucky to have received a lot of love and recognition for the same. In this series, I seek to share this knowledge with my viewers along with a very unique perspective that will not only help you understand the energy of the nodes but also how to channel that energy to fulfill your life purpose.
With each episode, we shall be studying the impact of the North node and South node of the Moon via placements in the natal chart, 'Navamsha' (D-9), 'Dashamasha'(D-10), 'Shashtiamsha' (D-60) and transits. I will expand into the other divisional charts as well but let's hope and aim to fulfill the primary objectives first.
RAHU in NINTH house in birth chart
Whenever you have the North node of the Moon 'Rahu' in the ninth house of the birth chart, that shows us that one of the primary objectives of your soul in this lifetime is spending time on this planet accumulating and sharing higher knowledge, philosophy, teachings and learnings of diverse subjects etc. This is a placement where the individual will also be titled towards the idea of 'seeing the world' more than settling down in one place. The soul is here to 'expand' through many experiences revolving around the themes of exposure, knowledge and spiritual growth.
The North node in the ninth house may often be looked at many astrologers as a bad and difficult placement in terms of its impact on relationship with father, 'gurus', luck and fortune since the 9th house is the house of fortune. However, as with any 'Rahu' placement, you will see many successful people who have this placement. However a common pattern you will observe in the successful people who have this, is a level of detachment with the regular ways of living and a leaning towards a life of learning more than material pursuits.
The only thing that matters here is how you become conscious of and navigate this energy in terms of discovering and applying your skills in the area of teaching; no matter how little you know about that topic. The focus here is more on the individual being able to be great teachers and explorers of the subject often subject(s) surrounding their primary field.

My father's family has some kind of curse as you mentioned, his family is big, every year someone dies from his family, everyone has doubts that their family have definitely some kind of curse.
I have rahu in my 9th house, i always feels that I'm soo different from my family and the way i think differently. I have a strong idea of writing a novel related to spirituality and it's innovative, creative, something that gives vibe of Venus. I have Venus and Saturn conjunction in third house. I love writing infact! I always desire to travel much as i can, to unknown, because i strongly feels that i will achieve so much in the unknown. But often i isolate myself from those opportunities because of fears and anxieties. 😢

Yes very true re lack of paternal support, yet it is also the gift of my paternal lineage (spiritual sight) that I am resurrecting. Yes my father became a father young and did not pursue his dreams, then later in life he retrained as a Christian Priest, I believe this was because he wasn’t brave enough to truly embrace the mysticism that calls to him that he was afraid of being outcast for by his family and friends. I, however, am the outcast and rebel of the family. Never understood by my siblings or parents, I have always chosen a different way. I have Rahu in Scorpio in 9th, conjunct Uranus which really means there’s no choice other than to walk the narrow pathway of my spiritual calling. I must reach my true potential and be an example to future generations. I love studying the esoteric traditions and exploring philosophy and deep questions. There is truly no joy or fruit in the mundanity of everyday life for me anymore. Curiously I have been drawn to Vedic symbolism since I was young (I am English) and once my kundalini awakened 7 years ago I began receiving guidance through my dreams in the form of Sanskrit words and alchemical symbols. Sir, I think placement of dispositor of Rahu plays major role in deciding how Rahu would behave. Even the planets sitting with Rahu also play important role. Moreover the planets aspecting Rahu also needs to be seen. I appreciate your opinion though.

I am a ♋ asc with rahu in 9th (Jupiter vargottama in ♌) What you said is 💯 true. Because of my last birth mistake, I have to be in my present family. From childhood my mother told me that you are an unwanted child (they were not planning for one). They tried their best to remove me but I hung on. My father hated me because I was a girl. From childhood I had an inclination towards religion/spirituality but all came out in rahu dasa. Ketu sits with the moon in ♍. Even though I was appreciated by all (I call it luck or God's grace), my parents destroyed my career family life and personal life , still I serve for them . Rahu dasa put me in a spiritual path which gives me peace and satisfaction. My intuition told me that because of my past life(maybe I didn't take care of my parents) I am getting this. I rose high in my life beyond my parents expectations by God's grace 🙏.

Omg I have the exact same placement as you.. Mars rahu in 9th, mine is in Magha nakshatra.. Ketu in 3rd house in dhanishta, but jupiter in purva badrapada.. Saturn in 5th in Ashwini!!

Again I have the same placements and the same f nakshatras!? Have you found answers to your questions? I have been into astro for the last 3 weeks and now know as much as my aunt knows about it, she has sporadically studied over the years. The ketu and Jupiter is strong with this one lol. Also the angarak conjunction in 9th house makes it a challenge to work towards what I want with a discipline. I don't normally do this lol, but would y'all be willing to connect online (i might regret at any other time, currently 3:30 am lmao)
