You can't expect a candidate who is staying in let's say Yeshwanthpur & his/her workplace is in Whitefield to not be absolutely sure of cab facilities or conveyance allowance. Or, a candidate prioritising their personal life. Or, a candidate who's flexible enough.

If you work on night shift early morning you are reaching home, and definitely you need a sleep atleast 7 hours. So you missed your breakfast and you having a late lunch. After lunch may you will get two hours to spend with your family after a coffee your time for travel to office. So in that case you are loosing your health. Normally if we use toilet atleast at time of 6,7,8 am and clear your colon you will be healthy but after a long sleep you can only maybe on noon time. So it affect like indigestion and constipation and may be IBS. Slowly slowly you are loosing your health. If you choose company which is provide work from home you can avoid your travelling stress and you can manage your time any time can have tea snacks may be you feel relax.

As someone who has interviewed a lot of people here is what i feel. she is giving extra information which i wouldn’t share personally as its irrelevant. Just be yourself during the interview no wonder so many people just appear robotic with these mugged answers and lack depth in their conversation.

Never allow an option for beyond your normal working hours. It's always a given that if some extreme unforeseen issue comes up you will give extra time but make sure that the interviewer knows what your definition of extreme is. For me I said if issues where HSE or where a delivered project caused problem for the client was the circumstance I would try my best to be available. Never promise behind your hours.

so, it's always better to say simply yes.

  • @anbarasuramachandran2567

Yes means ,don't expect you will be deployed into the night shift. Also No means there is no guarantee that you will be working in a day shift. It's all about the project. If the panel is specifically looking for a candidate for a specific shift then they will mention it in JD. Based on the JD you can apply/ appear for an interview. Please don't be over deplomatic.
