Casey Cole hey man! For tog we use green crab, white crab, sand fleas and store bought raw shrimp! Just depends on when and where and conditions.

Casey Cole I have never fished the pier per day as we fish from the boat. But we have fished near it. Typically we hit the jetty and Inlet spots.

Hey guys nice vid what’s that brand of rod you all are using I love the spiral guides and the action of that set up ?
Christian Yarborough it’s called acid wrap. It’s done to the opposite side that the real handle is to counter the twist from the offsetting weight. That way the rod is more balanced in your hands. I don’t know of any mass produced versions. Most likely need to order it custom made. Well worth the $300 though. I used to build rods myself.

I noticed that both you and Captain Tom were fishing with the tip section of the two piece rods rotated with the guides towards the water. What is the reason for this? I have never seen that before. Thanks in advance.

I caught 2 keepers over the weekend. My nephews caught multiple keepers.
With every new generation there will be new innovation better than the last generation just how the old timers scoffed when they heard about braid the first time

Tog is a great fish to eat. Hard to have a bag recipe. Simple pan fry with salt pepper and garlic powder.
