In a lot of comedies the two main characters who are (often) forced to work together to achieve a goal are usually always insulting each other (and those insults generally constitute the majority of the jokes for those kinds of comedy).
Yet here, this show proves you can have two characters working together, NOT constantly insulting each other, and still make it funny. I think that's why it's so nice to see them interact. It's a nice change and their chaotic energy plays off each other so well. Hats off to the writers!

I loved this show as a kid it was so subtle yet so funny. It refused to just say "Oh this is for kids, we'll just have the characters make a funny face and call it a day" you can tell they put in so much effort and had real punchlines and respected thier audience
The pacing of this show is remarkably patient and I found it hilarious. This is NOT the kind of show I would figure kids of today would watch. Though I guess since it got cancelled, they weren't watching.

Seeing as Lola's first appearance _is_ in Space Jam, we can't say she was nerfed, since her original conception was to be the stereotypical, 1-dimensional, unfunny, bombshell token girl in a predominantly all-male cast.

@@adambomb2236 In the case of Daffy he is kinda a giant narcissist. He comes off as a PG Cartman. Very self absorbed. Which makes for a great cartoon character, of course.

Yeah that's what threw me off back then. Lol
Nah. Everyone sounds mature in this show. The squicky voice only applies to tiny creatures but they talk like any average mature person would. This show was basically a sitcom version of looney tunes and i fucking loved it. Praying for a relaunch🖐️
