@@youtuber9626 The Scorpion king is prequel/spin-off to The Mummy returns ;) So Mummy (2001) was realy before Scorpion King (2002), it was small role in Mummy but nevermind.. still role.
De facto his debut was in Longshot (2001)... I don't know what is it but that was his first movie. It was also first movie for Britney Spears (but her debut was in show Sabrina, the Teenage Witch).
Not really his first tv appearance was in sixth season episode "Tsunkatse of star trek voyager.
How the hell did 2001 get so long ago. I'm living out of my time now.

i cant believe patricia is the woman behind this perfect egyptian mistress we see in the movie, she's so down to earth and her character is so magnificently otherworldly. the way she portrays that woman + in ancient egyptian, i mean she said it once, "guys im a model not an actress i dont know how i'll play this role"... honey you played this role better than the real long gone ankhsunamun herself. trust me even if we time traveled to bring an ancient egyptian lady for the role she wouldnt have played it like you did.
@@Jennifahh i think i just see a deeper side to what she brought to screen, there's a different vision here to just "ok", i dont know maybe its 90% of her looks that does the job. i mean i know a masterpiece of a performance when i see it. that anksunamun of hers had me at the opening of the golden doors in the intro of the first movie i was like wow who is this woman she has the perfect look "the birthplace of anksunamun pharoah's mistress no other man was allowed to touch her" i was never more convinced omg that's a real ancient egyptian lady+ the music and the language. i get goosebumps every time i play the intro. arnold and patricia nail the opening scene

I saw him in Four Weddings and a Funeral first.
Because of this movie I went to film school. I Saw It on theaters when I was 12. It was Epic!!

Arnold Vosloo is so gorgeous here. his voice is so smooth. I was definitely crushing on fully-regenerated Imhotep in the movies. 😄😍also i agree with Brendan Fraser, Indy is tops, but The Mummy & The Mummy Returns were spectacular fun inserts to the genre.

I think the new Mummy movie should be a sequel and Patricia Velasquez character will be the main new villain.So we can have all the original cast members to come back to do one final the mummy movie. Probably make towards the end of the movie it should show Imhotep coming out the sand of Egypt or reincarnation of him standing towards the pyramid to leave a cliff hanger.

2:49 there were some errors in logic in the first film.. yeah you're right man like the opening scene with the pyramids that were wrongly located.. but whatever it doesnt matter where they put them they added beauty to the intro of the first mummy and thats what counts. go on making errors in films, if they hadn't the film wouldn't look like it is.
