    Should make a bleeder fitting with a barb attachment to feed back into a collection jar.

    The bleeding screw is the one on the top I believe.

    Thanks for that mate. Knew their had to be a high bleed point somewhere. What is your opinion on using Engine Ice in Raptor 700's?

    Will i need to flush and burp the coolant after changing a stuck thermostat? I’m guessing no but unsure

    Great vids Daniel 🖒. I gam a bit of clear tube (of the rite size) in th hole & run it down to a bottle or tray.....no mess & you can see the air comming out 👌.

      Shane Wesneski yes. I use that . Doesn't video well due to siphon effect showing more bubbles

    I just bought a raptor and the reservoir is on low can I just add some to that without bleeding?

    What's your opinion of running with or without the thermostat? Some say leave it in as it will cool better by slowing down the flow to give the radiators time do their job...others say remove it and get the most flow possible. I'm terrified of having a thermostat stick closed and cook a motor!!

    My bike 2020 is showing high water temp and tgr fan kicks on and runs continuously..would this be due to a bubble in the coolant system..sometimes its seems to be boiling bubbling back into the reservoir

    Thanks for the video. Now I know why my quad did not take all the recommended coolent.
    What is that screw called?
    I have a 2006 yfz450. Is it located in the same place as the Raptor?

    Since your using an automotive engine coolant instead of yamalube do you suggest still changing it every two years like they recommend or more like 5-10 years?

    When I’m riding my raptor 700 it blows too much hot air from the engine, could it be that my raptor is low on antifreeze and is a sign of possible overheating if is not filled up with antifreeze?

    Hey just picked up a ‘19 raptor 700. I rode it around the yard for about 15 mins. 2 days later while in the garage I noticed the coolant level was just at above the “o” in “low”. Is that okay or should I add more? Idk if the dealership overlooked this or it’s normal. I don’t see anything leaks. Thanks in advance

    • @MrCuervoRacing
      @MrCuervoRacing  Před 5 lety +1

      its perfectly fine to run it at the low mark. i personally only ever fill them to the low mark when cold. this keeps them from running too full when hot and some expansion happens.

      @@chrisrieger9201 rinse it out with distilled water so it's clean of old coolant. Then fill it with ice straight out of the bottle no mixing. One bottle of ice will fill it. You should have just a little extra. Be sure to use the bleed screw on thermostat to get air out. Even when you flush it.
